I'm just having trouble with the generic nature of the topics, and my lack of ideas from any since the first one (which you may notice I won because mine was the best ). I am giving the latest (pride) a good think, but so far having very little to show for it.

Talking of sounds (well sorta), I was on the bridge of the ship, and caught sight of the tv screen. I then heard the music. Whoever thought of that is a genius! I'm not going to really spoil it, because I'm sure some people have a long way to go but I think everyone here agrees that the whole Frostbite team have done what they said couldn't be done.

I'm keeping an eye on the website (http://soldner.jowood.com/) just to check new stuff. So far this game has chucked some of the best bits of all the games out there into one huge melting pot, simmered until golden and now we just have to wait until it is ready to pour. If this game sucks it will be a crying shame.

I killed Beethoven. Bloody hell. The one about the US Congress makes me think has anyone done a similar poll of those in the House of Lords or the House of Commons. Me thinks you would get a (worryingly) similar result. (Trying hard not to get political.)

I started to play it last night and it is truely incredible. You can't guess that it was a mod. Praise be to all the frostbite team. Now, all I've got left is to lay the demo charges on the radar and rescue those pesky hostages and onto mission 2... (I cleared out all of my mods that I had made last night in a huge girly fit of rage at how incompetent mine looked in comparision. and I don't care.)

Okay its about 11.40 so we have 3 hours 20 until kick off. I think that you would have to wait to get the sats lined up due to the curviture of the earth, and the amount of sats available, but thats only me thinking. Although the government/military won't admit it outright it is believed that these satelittes can get as close as reading your number plate. (But that would mean your car is facing at 90 degrees to the road lol). The reason for this thinking is that some commercial sat's can get quite close i.e seeing the tops of peoples heads and stuff, so the military are usually one step ahead.

That is the most amazing Mod I have ever seen. Granted I have only ever downloaded 1 (HX4 so I could play on the defunct gr server), but I have seen many screenshots of others. Those guys have really upped the ante for map making in the GR community. I'm sure most people have tried a little mod once or twice and know how hard it can be. That mod looks like a full time job for a team of people. Good job to those involved. Can't wait....

Okay I solved the inline autocomplete thing. I had turned it off in Tools:Internet Options:Advanced but it also appears in Content: Autocomplete. Its a bit like having to turn a tap off in 2 places. Thanks for making computers worldly available MicroSoft, but don't think you can get away with such rubbish as this for long. I don't want everything to tie in with Internet Explorer, that is utterly stupid. A lot of big companies are turning to open source stuff to save hundreds of pounds/dollars/euros by not having to pay your stupid fees. arggghhhhhhhhh arhghghghghghgh arrrgggghhhhh. Thank yo
