Take up of the internet is very high among older people. I had some stats of broadband take up on age ranges, but I've lost it. By no means were OAP's in the lowest category.

I'm sure one of them is the new R6 game, and I bet the others are: An expansion to lock on SC2 R6: They just announced Broken Sword or whatever it was called Probably right with the Lock On expansion. Sc2: Umm, Pandora tomorrow is SC2. Let's not get too excited people, you will only be disappointed.

I got my copy today, Huzzah! I completed the first level, and now just playing the second. Shame the textures aren't as good as they used to be, probably cos of the console port. Still cracking game though. Love the new animation where you hit them on the head with your pistol, and then slowly lower them to the floor.

There is a carriage with 3 people in right? and 2 of them are body guards for the big guy i think. I turn off the lights, wait behind the nearest seat at the end of the carraige until the guy stands up, then donk him on the head with the pistol, then you just creap straight through the middle of the carriage with the lights out.

Yeah, real funny, I couldn't find the virus after a scan so I reformated.

I always took the inside route on the mission, I might go back and do the other routes. But yes, it does appear that although it was stated it would be less linear, all they have done is given you 2 ways of getting to the same place. Mine should be dispatched tomorrow and arrive Saturday or Monday (probably monday). Considering I thought it was being released on the 27th March I was becoming a little disappointed it hadn't arrived. Still not as bad as Avey's story of woe....

Could well be, there are a lot of jokers out there ready to have fun at other peoples expense. At least it is only a bit of defacement, and all the forums are still working.

SOF leaving the Military...for Money
magnumkp replied to MarauderMike's topic in Real World Military
So I usually earn $400 a week which all gets sent to my family. But then I could earn up to $10,000 a week (but certainly more than $400) so I can leave that job X amount of times earlier than if I stayed in the army. I can go home and spend more time with my family and be richer at the same time. -
I think that can be put in the "Made up story but it's funny because it could be true" box.

^23.5 out of 25^^ It makes me stand up until it disappears. Not sure about cutting down the middle of the Cross of St George though. In my day you would have been strung up for that. Still no sig for me, so rate aveys again. Go on.

Hahah, nice one h-hour.

I'd be naked too, but I just thought people might think I was a bit weird if I said that.

I'd just run around going "argh ###### i'm going to die" Probably.

It's all fun and games until someone looses an eye.

BT figure out the trigger level (British Telecom, currently run Britains telephone exchanges). I think they work out how much it would cost to enable the exchange (they also provide internet connections, so they don't just do it for being nice, they want to make a profit) then double the amount of people needed to cover the costs. The customer doesn't pay anything to have the exchange enabled, only if they decide to go with BT Broaband. (although their package isn't overly expensive). My friend once went to an internet service providers headquarters (he worked on a helpdesk that fed into th

The town next door to mine has it at 100, it might be half the size but that is still a bit annoying (i.e. a small town is going to get broadband quite a while ahead of us). We do have wireless broadband, but you have to fork out about £100 for an annetena and then £30+ a month for the connection. (and I hate the person who runs it, so I'm not going to be lining his pockets, I'd rather stick with 56k than know I helped pay for his convertible.)

Well done Dannik. At least it didn't have scan lines in it.

56k at the mo. Well I say at the mo, it's probably going to be the same until 2005. BT has set a trigger level for 400 on our exchange meaning it could be while (despite numerous attempts at getting people to register). While researching for this post I found this: On the bt.com site it says my town is Ready for Broadband (despite not enough people registering, last time I checked it was about 175/400.) However, an active time as not been set. What worries me is that the latest active date on that page is 12/01/2005. Does that mean my town is going to be after that?

And also trying to act like Sam Fisher going to your kitchen... C'mon, we've all done that, walking down the street and then suddenly, take a sharp left into side alley, with palms and back flat on the wall, and then stalk someone all the way up to the newsagents, where Blammo, you grab him from behind and then donk him on the head with you're pistol. Then you carry his body down another side alley and sneakly run, with one hand on your gun, alway to an awaiting transit. Right guys? Right? Guys? Hello. I've said too much.

Anyone else played the demo? The Onslaught match is mental as a bag full of badgers (the game mode with the "nodes"). I've only played the instant access version as I will lag online, shame. One heck of a huge amount of fun.

I got stuck on level 31/32, played it a while ago, there is a post under me with something like "a few games for you".
