    Maybe Duke Nukem Forever Ain't Quite Dead Yet

    Manhatten Project was the last DN game, but this game (Forever ) has been in development for YEARS. It's possible that could be the news but it could be the announcement of something else. It appears to be a little too obvious connection if that is the story, but then again maybe not.... who knows.... I don't.... ....

    You may have heard of the P P P P Powerbook scam. Bascially, a guy wants to sell a Powerbook on Ebay. A seller comes forward and wants to use an unknown Escrow service (it's sort of a middle payment type thing). Sensing a scam he posts on the somethingawful forums for suggestions. They send him an A4 folder made up as a Powerbook, but make him pay about £2000 in shipping tax. They even stake the delivery place out to try and get photos of Fed Ex delivering the goods. It is a fairly lengthy story, but it really is a must read if you get 15 minutes or so. (The Somethingawful thread was 82 pages long).

    Suggestion: Modder Spotlight

    It would be nice to put faces to names on the modders spotlight (I was surprised Jack was pushing 40 :o ), perhaps that could be a future addition, or go back and post pics for the current ones.

    I know people don't really want their pretty faces online, I just thought it might be nice for these special profiles. Especially Chems face. That would be nice. A nice picture of Chems.

    Well I've swapped the images. Hopefully that will make him take notice. If not, well, looks like I'll have to find some really nasty pictures to link into.

    Looks like the ST Cobblers one is actually hosted on their own account so no bother there.

    (I've still got the old scanned ones, might be nice after GR2 is released to go back and look at them).

    Statements such as the above are what the phrase "######, please" was invented for.

    I thought the phrase "Chems, here is a dictionary and the Penguin Book of Basic Grammar" was more suitable.

    That's all I need, those scans are 200k each. Hopefully it isn't a hugely well visited forum and my bandwidth won't *implode* (I shifted 1gb of data in one day last week following a front page on b3ta with a 100k animation, lucky I don't pay for it :D).

    I just suggest we ignore it, he has probably read this forum and realises we are rising to his bait.

    Chems, who was is a trusted Staff member on this site, thought that he would enter my private area and edit my signature from saying ^^This is a lie^^ to ^^this isnt (sic) a lie^^.

    Please note that this is the second time he saw fit to edit my signature, having sent me no PMs or warnings (which he could not do anyway as my signature was not breaking any rule).
