Yeah, im sorry Wolfsong, but i feel that your post was uneccesarily aggresive considering the nature of the previous posts.
Nobody is questioning your right to play the game as you see it, but you seem to be doing exactly that im your response.
For your information, iv'e done the "get a rifle and go to war bit" and i wasnt overly impressed, but i do enjoy playing a game either with friends in a clan, or just people i meet in here, who i generally think are a very fine bunch, and i have had no complaints about my standard of playing from anyone in all my time in the servers, perhaps your afraid of putting yourself in a position where you will have to back up your high opinion of your own personal skills, that you obviously gained from your time in the combat zone.
I dont know what sparked such a venomous response from you, but you can not expect people in here to sit back and let you get on you high horse about what was a perfectly innocent subject, without responding with their own opinion, no matter how much you may or may not like it, and personally i couldnt care less which one of those it is...

I dont think they are that much of a help, normally by the time anyone shows up on the map as a blip you should have a visual on him anyway if you are scanning your area, thats what i usually find...

I was thinking of getting the top of the range model just before christmas, but i was wondering how i would get it across from the US, but what do you know, they actually started building them in the UK now so i am going to wait for all the Fx gear to be installed and im going to get me one.... maybe...

If you start by downloading and installing HX 4 you wont go far wrong, a lot of servers use it and it is a good example of a high quality mod with both missions and equipment changes available.
Once you have got the idea then take a look around and see which ones take your fancy and try out a few ( you can find all the mods you'll ever need in the "downloads" section in here ), eventually you will find out which ones you prefer and you can get rid of any that you dont like, have fun....

Interesting theory Night', personally i feel that the whole business of predicting major fluctuations in the Earths climate is a load of hogwash.
I believe that the weather patterns have probably changed like this millions of times during its history, its just that we havent been around to see it, nobody can predict what the weather is going to do next, they can stick all their data in a computer and print out some fancy prediction that its warming up or cooling down, either could be right, but since this just the normal cycle for the planet, and their is nothing we can do about it (that includes cutting down all these different emissions etc) then i suggest that you either buy a nice warm coat, or some new swimming trunks depending on what your own feelings are on the matter and go with the flow...

The problem is not the amount of servers they have on Ubi, cobblers, its the quality of some of the games /players that appear in there sometimes..

You have a fair point, the problem with mods is that different servers run different mods ( as you have found out i expect ) the best thing to do is to get all your basic setup running as well as you can, that includes all the patches for the whole 3 components, GR/DS/IT.
Once that is all working well then i would suggest you start by playing in some of the games organised in here using the direct IP method, which generally run only with that setup, and no mods included, then find one or two servers recommended by friends or seen in here that may have a mod, HX 4 etc, download it, install it, and see how you go once you join the game.
It is a slow progression, but if you try to rush it without having a stable game platform to start with you will only encounter more problems as you add more and more mods.. good luck..

Your right to point it our Rocky, i always try to get up every so often when i'm playing just to give myself a break, but we all know how quickly time flies once you get in front of your comp screen and its probably something that a lot of people never even think of....
Btw, perhaps we should start calling you "lucky" rather than Rocky, with all this bad luck you get.. lol

Sorry Rocky, just because you could move it before doesnt mean you didnt break it, it could have a hairline fracture, to be honest, even if you did break it there isnt much they will do apart from strap it to your other fingers for support and let it heal, do as we said, take some painkillers and rest it until Mon, if its still swollen and painful get an x-ray just to make sure, oh, and if you start to lose any feeling in the finger or it goes blue and cold get down to A&E ASAP ok ?...
Btw, cut out all the macho Karate, and stick to the safer art of GR.. lol

Did you actually hit your finger or anything ? if not then is it warmer than your other finger ? you may have an infection in your finger joint if you havent been stung by anything, no history of arthritis in your family ?
zjj's advice would be good to start with, rest it up cool it down and take some anti inflammatory tablets if you've got any (ibuprofen etc)
If it's not better by Mon go see your GP who can arrange an x-ray if needs be, i hope it gets better soon Rocky...

To be honest, even though a lot of people seem to like it i didnt really like the game interface or the way the missions were structured, gave it a go didnt like it.
If your keen to play it give me an address to send it to and i'll send you my copy (remembering that i'm in the UK) i wont be using it again...
