We were told that 4 or 5 were already dead apparently and that they had shown the bodies on tv, the rest were alive but some were wounded..

Iraq now showing 5 US pow's on TV also against Geneva Convention, apparently one of them is a women, plus 5 dead, all are meant to be from some kind of maintenance unit.......

I know some of the Patriots are not controlled by a human operator, but are on an automatic system maybe there was some problem with that, we know how reliable software can be.....

Thats right Rocky, they were just firing into the reeds i dont remember seeing that in the Geneva Convention.....

I know Rocky, its unbelievable watching it live as they hunt around in the reeds for supposedly two downed coalition air crew, i havent seen either of them yet, and the military are denying losing any aircraft (as they would) so its a bit hard to tell whats going on...

Its typical of these opportunist countries who take advantage of dangerous situations, because thay havent got the guts to do it by themselves in peacetime.....................

With all the trouble i can forseee Turkey bringing with them in Northern Iraq i dont see them being much help.........

This is sad but it could have happened at any time not only during the conflict, any of us who have served know that whenever you climb into these pieces of kit that due to the nature of the job, low level, night time, bad weather etc, that these things could happen, you put your trust the crews and hope that this sort of failure doesnt happen...

Mines not as ornate as that one Z, just the usual regular issue with the small sharpening ones with it..

Speaking as someone who has listened to a few of these speeches during conflict they do have the desired effect when your about to go into the unknown, and i still have my Kukri too from my time spent with the Ghurkas in Hong Kong...

Lets not forget the other nationalities out there as well, good luck to them all..

Since the second resolution has been withdrawn from the UN now, it can only be a matter of hours before we see miltary action begin....
