Don't get me started on how much I love Ghost Recon 2 for the XBOX.
Without a doubt it is my favorite game.
I play the game on live and just want to point out this one little irriatating thing that people should recignize.
Alot of the real fanatics of the game tend to make their large servers so your radar is off and the icons over the head are off, making it very difficult to identify targets.
In a situation like this, a few things to point out.
a.) if you put your crosshairs on them, their name will pop up. Give it a second because if their looking at you and not firing you have some time.
b.) your teammates are the only people in the game who have rocket launchers strapped to their back.
c.) get behind cover and look at the large map you got. If you don't see a friendly, blast the ######.
I'm posting this because the last game I had last night was ruined due to some ###### who had a slippery trigger finger.
We were on Hospital camp, 16 players no radar. As I'm reloading my gun, covering behind a tent, a friendly came up over the hill. I waved him over and identified him from his name appearing. He looked at me for a split second and shot me in the head. I was in a very dark area nonetheless, but the TK was preventable.
Just be aware guys. As the army says, Identify before shooting.
Identity before you shoot.
