[Multiplayer Squad AI?!]

you must be referring to the option "AI Backup" i never played gr2 long enough to find this out. after the first couple of missions, i hated the game. i WANT 2 squads. i bought SS but, it was the same crap. the original & IT will always be the best. they might not have the graphics, but the gameplay is superior. after seeing screenshots of GR3, it'll be the same 1 squad crap as GR2. too bad. games seem to be getting worse lately. don't even get me started with Lockdown.

i was just curious where i stand on this. the majority, minority, or split. i've played the original gr since it came out (for xbox) bought island thunder as soon as it released. i loved the game so much, i even bought the original & jungle storm for ps2. but now, we have gr2 & grss. i feel the game has been ruined. one squad, enemies see you through trees & darkness, enemies spawn only near your vicinity, super-human crack shots from 300 yards away. the new squad cheering like little children even while getting shot at. i REALLY tried to like the new series. i really did. i bought gr2 on release. kept it for about a month, then got rid of it. i knew summit was the same. i still bought it. on sale $25. i wish i could like this game, but i can't. i found the original fun & challenging. i find gr2 not fun & frustrating. am i alone?

yeah. it's pretty awful. i rented just to see how it was. i don't think red storm likes ps2. either that or they don't know how to utilize the ps2 hardware.
