haha, I have one too, I switched it on yesterday for what must have been the first time in about 6 years. The laptop was much smaller than i remembered, but just as slow . As for the comp i use now, just after i moved house recently, I had to reinstall my 14.4Kbs modem until ADSL was activated, this thing is more like plug n pray than plug n play . I have some other ol' chestnuts, a 1988 IBM thing with green and black screen, a Pentium 1 133Mhz which is still used, plus some better things. As for the worst shop-built PCs I would advise against Time strongly. my £0.02

Try these: World Guns Noxnoctics The second is an airsoft site but the images are great for texturing.

I dont know much about using PSP7 but I imagin it would be the same process, you would of course need an .RSB plugin for the program. If you've got one, open up an existing kit icon file and you wil see it is comprised of an RGB channel and an Alpha channel. It is split into 3 parts a Primary, a Secondary, and Secondary remote if necessary. Remember when you are working on a kit icon file only work in the alpha channel, and if you paste an image of your own into the alpha channel make sure it is monochromatic, ie black and white. If you cant find an rsb plugin for psp, download the rsb to t

Hey, thanks hotpants for the suggestion, i've now managed to get both the landy and the apache with working weaponry . Heres a screenshot of a new Iraqi Reg character model (Ishmel):

Thanks for the idea HotPants , I will try that both on my Landy, and my Apache.

Those look great streinger, you might want to texture the faces such as the front and back of the pistol grip and along the top. If you dont know how to do this add a mesh edit modifier to the model, select the faces that need to be textured, then a apply a UVW map to them. You will then be able to texture them seperate to the sides. Keep up the good work

@The_Slink, you can tag a firing weapon as a turret on a tracked vehicle (like an APC), as bajabravo did, but not on a wheeled vehicle like a landrover. @Fortran, you sure have your work set out for you, so goodluck. When we first started on the 'SAS Skins mod' back in late february 2002, there were about 4 other teams working on SAS mods at the time, (anyone remember Jed aka svengelska?! bless his heart!),.. anyway most of them gave up and we came through in the end, so keep at it fortran.

no the GPMG doesnt fire at the moment, i dont think its possible to have a fixed weapon on a moving wheeled vehicle, if anyone know how this could be done i'd be interested to know...
