Sounds like a neat set up, id go for it. Make sure you get a big-###### Power Supply Unit to feed it all, 450W upwards should do.

OK, with a router, to host mp games for anything you need to set port forwarding rules, so that your router can forward any incoming connections on the GR ports to your Machine. After looking at the info for your Westell modem/router it would seem that there is no way you can set port forwarding rules for that specific modem. So, altho I may be wrong, from what i can see, hosting MP games is impossible with your current hardware. If you wanna save some hassle get yourself a plug'n'play USB ADSL modem, or get a full blown router with port forwarding capabilities.

Prophet, you are always getting your internal IP address (192.168.1.1) coz your modem connects to your computer via an ethernet card, what you are seeing is the IP address of your ethernet card. Usually for non-routing ADSL modems a USB or serial port will be used to connect to your computer, RJ45 is unusual so it seems like your modem is a router. Could you tell us what the model and manufacturer of your modem is? You might be able to enter a configeration page which will tell you what your external IP address is. Also if your ADSL account has a fixed IP address we can simply find out what

You are using a router, so in order to host games you need to do this: Forward all the GR ports (2346 thru 2348 UDP and TCP) to the local IP address of your machine (eg. 192.168.0.2). You should be able to do this within your router's web based configuration system. It may called a 'Reserved Mapping' within your NAT settings. At the moment when your friend tries to connect to your router his request does not know which machine on your network to go to so your router is just bouncing it back. Hope this helps elpatricio

We'd thought long and hard about the british voices thing, but to do it well, we would have had to record a lot of wav files and it have increased the file size a fair bit, anyway its still something that we might make as a stand alone mod to play with SEM, or on its own. Thanks for all the feedback ppl

Sorry Warhawk, im not sure if I understand your argument. Are you trying to say that part of you would support the ethnic cleansing of all arabic people in your country? This is the first time i've ever come across this utterly sick idea, so I'm not quite sure how it can be a 'coming neccesity' Sorry if I have misunderstood you at all.

Hi zulu, thanks for the feedback. About the arctic specialists, we wanted to have uniforms for every type of terrain that there is. The specialists don't reflect any objectives in the GR campaign BTW, its designed to be played with all specialists unlocked. When mods like Frostbite come out, then they'll have a use. The MP5 is something that had to be included, its the sas ye know . I didn't realise that it was ineffective. Thanks, l8r El Patricio

Major Maximum and XRW_Hunter... Here Here!

what it says on the site is a mistake, only the C8-sd buttstock was extended for the final version.
-
Yeh, I found that the texture didn't animate unless the object that the texture was applied to was tagged as part of a rotor group.
-
I had a look at some of the reticle textures, it appears that you can change the circular bit that is specific to each weapon type, but the length of the reticle pips (cross-hairs) are hard-coded for each weapon type. This is just the conclusion i came to when i looked at them, i haven't modded reticles before so I may be wrong.

I think nishi's skins and character models are awesome Nishi was one of the first modders ever to export a custom character model for Ghost Recon. and also, dont forget that nishi had made first gr weapons mod just weeks after the release as well. I think hes a great guy and a great problem solver, and i've been a fan of his work since the rogue spear days.
