Thanks for responding. My title screen says v1.4.0.0. Can I ask what your MAC is? Did you have to upgrade to a PC equivalent 1.4?

Thanks for responding. He has (MAC) DS, but deactivated when we start multiplayer. I do not have DS or IT. I have a firewall, that I believe I had disabled. I will have to check again. I did not think to ask if he had a firewall.

I have seen several posting related to PC players wanting to play via IP with Mac players. However, after trying all of the suggestions, my borther (Mac) and I (PC) are still having problems connecting. We are to the point were we are able to see each others servers, but when we try to connect we get the software version error. As it stand now, he deactivated Desert Seige mod.
