Indeedy......Furthermore too...... It's always gonna be a complete grey area as even if you don't overclock, mass production techniques often results in some inconsistencies in the millions of CPU's sold anyway......Not to mention the vastly different configurations of any given individuals system, all of which have a direct effect in some way on these scenarios too!! Regardless of what paste is actually used or even what Heatsink is used too, whether an all singing all dancing Volcano for example, right down to the stock H/S & Fan supplied with an AMD itself (as long as it's obvious

This is not a "Told ya so" incase ya think it is, cos it ain't m8 lol...... ......But I did try to kinda subtly warn ya about "some of" the Norton stuff (not all by any means) a few days back NM......hopefully you'll get to the bottom of it and have it totally sorted soonest !
-
Bit confusing ya post m8....... What are you trying to do and what is the use of the ^ ???? It's not used anywhere for any tags etc!!!! The only "stationary" tag that applies to weapons as such are the...... <StationaryStandAccuracy>10</StationaryStandAccuracy> <StationaryCrouchAccuracy>8</StationaryCrouchAccuracy> <StationaryProneAccuracy>5</StationaryProneAccuracy> .........Tags, or maybe the Stabilisation time.......???? But, it's not easy to understand what you mean anyway so that could be something else entirely.......Try to be a bit

I'm on ISDN (128k tho) and mine will do the same thing even if I'm gaming or even D'loading etc too!!! It's more than likely down to your ISP with an idle cut off "Server Side"......As long as I have ICQ running with a regular ping interval then it maintains the connection...... ......Otherwise any little "Ping" Application or an app you may already use that pings will hopefully solve ya problem (check out places like CNET for a "Pinger" ! Hope that solves it for ya !

Just get summat with 2 Wheels Stinger, much more fun m8.......Ya know ya want too hehehehe !!!

LOL Stinger.......Obviously not m8 lol, ya can't check em in Windows or any OS full stop can ya hehehe!!! You having a "State the obvious day" over there hehehe (ya know I'm just foolin lol, so don't blow a gasket m8)!! It's not great but it is more accurate and if ya dive out quick enough into ya BIOS then ya can catch the temps before they adjust after maybe workin the CPU and get a good idea of what ya temps are going to be under load, obviously for idle temps it's not a problem at all!!!

Stinger......Don't know if you had time to read some of the little snippets of info there along with the scores etc, but one that just caught the corner of my eye more by accident than looking at it was they claimed that the FAT32 system runs drives a heck of a lot faster than NTFS. Thus newer OS's may seem slower if you have gone from FAT32 to NTFS blah blah!! My 40 gig Maxtor which ultimately isn't as good as the 120 gb still scored higher and the speed differences were actually damn frustrating as you say. The 40 gig is still formatted in FAT32 after I just bunged it in this sytem fr

Have been trying with not much luck to date to contact the Author of this Mod......That being......The Park!! The jujuman17@Yahoo email addy annotated in the readme or in the contact listing in the /modscont text doesn't work (returns mail from server), and I'd really like to get intouch with the guy if possible. So if the man himself reads this or if anyone has any contact with him other than the jujuman yahoo email addy or knows otherwise of any other way he may be contacted could they please let me know, it would be very much appreciated ! Cheers!!!!!

The UBI software is very twitchy when Firewalls are in use if that applies to you, ESPECIALLY the patcher..... Either completely allow the patcher full access or at least use a liberal filtering rule whilst it patches and then return it to normal settings or turn ya Firewall off completely. After patching it works better but some Firewalls can still be problematic with it, if ya Firewall software allows you to set different filtering rules for different Apps then again, set them to filter liberally for the UBI software or off completely for the UBI software and that could well help ! No

Help with Clickteam Install Maker
Urban_Tiger replied to SneakyDevil's topic in GR - General Mod Topics
LMAO..... With feelin so ###### haven't had chance to play with that yet Sneaky lol.....Will know who to ask now if ya get it going lol.....Ya didn't tell me on ICQ that u had got round to D'loading it and working with it or were ya gonna keep that one quiet muhahahaha !????? -
LOL...... PC Pit stop is kinda useful isn't it hehehe....As someone said it doesn't really tell ya anything that you may not already know but it's useful to know how well ya system is running !

In case ya still worrying about it don't go too mad on a cooling quest lol...... I had a 1200 T'Bird and they are rated to "safe" max working temps of 95 C (yes, that's Ninety Five degrees "Cent" lol), from memory after that it's upto 105 C which it obviously shouldn't be maintained at but at that temp it still won't kill it, above that they give no guarantee's which is understandable lol!! That sort of temp for a T'Bird is actually pretty good and nothing to worry about really ! You may get it lower if you spend on a high end Heatsink etc but even then it may only save you a few degree

Dunno if you sorted this one but when I first started I had a similar problem in getting the enemy to use the AT4 which obviously is a Secondary kit over using their Primaries!! Regardless of if I "locked or Set" the Actor in question to use the Secondary it still never made him use the AT4 for the desired effect I wanted lol! What I did was create a new kit file where the Primary weapon was the AT4 and assigned that kit to the actor to use and problem solved lol! You could do the same and just assign the Actor to use your new kit file where a Grenade or GL is his primary weapon and he

Portable Storage for MP3 and JPEG files
Urban_Tiger replied to Cpl Ledanek's topic in Computer Discussions
Dunno how specific you want any equipment or hardware to be etc to accomplish your goal, but my dad's Car Stereo for example will play CD-R's and RW's in it and also plays tracks burnt onto a CD in MP3 format too anyway ! It's nothing "special or new" as far as Car Stereo's go these days either lol, just didn't know if you had heard of them or seen them??!! If other forms of media like pictures are also on any given CD it just ignores them and still plays the audio format files so you can mix any sort of media on a CD and still listen to em in ya car lol!! It wasn't too expensive come to -
LOL Supasniper...... It's OK to do it as long as you have a rough idea of what you may change and any outcome any "fiddling" may have hehehehe ! Get it wrong (which doesn't take much unfortunately) and it will totally ###### everything right up lol!!
-
Hmmmmm, Obviously I have an Nvidia and that too has TV out but I've never had the same problem you seem to be getting. No idea what it could be TBH !!
-
Have you installed any mods other than Desert Siege or Island Thunder and have you been messing about with Igor or any of the GR files by chance hehehehe????
-
U sure you've got that right lol?????? Ghost Recon certainly doesn't use any files with that .extension and as standard, with Desert Seige or Island Thunder installed there is also not a file of that name either. Whether it is from an unofficial mod you may have installed is another matter, but it still wouldn't be of any use to you with the extension of .C56 !!
-
As far as other McAfee stuff goes they do suck LMAO......But the Firewall wooops the Norton attempt and gives greater protection and is far easier to use hands down. Go on one of ya researches Stinger, you may be shocked to find out the differences.....I was lol ! For everything else I use Norton no questions tho!!
-
Hey WhiteKnight, I use one called WinDVD by Intervideo !! Never had any problems with it and it plays DVD's cool as. No setting up required as default and what preferences there are are fairly basic as you don't really need much lol!! It's pretty much laid out like most media players if you run it as a window although more like with video/CD Player controls kinda thing, obviously you can maximise it to full screen anyway ! Have you tried the standard Windows DVD Player too as an interim measure??......Win ME onwards has one but there's often not a shortcut for it in the Accesories or
-
LOL Stinger..... Nope, no real realism to The Need 4 Speeds lol, but most of the games I have are realism based as such and it's nice occasionaly to have something to play that's just a laff and totally "out there" with no realism to it at all and just chill out hehehe ! The temptation was there to take the ###### outta ya system but it's not worth it hehehe..... J/K ! What many have to remember is that even tho they may think they have the best system in the world, someone somewhere will always have one better than theirs, so ultimately they should keep their gobs shut rofl !
-
Norton AV and Sys tools etc are OK'ish but the McAfee Firewall is 100% better TBH. I've never had any problems with any of the Norton stuff except for their damn Firewalls lol. Goodbye Norton Firewall, hello McAFee and it's a world better !
-
I have mine kinda a green colour at the moment lol (doesn't make a difference to NV before you ask, even if they are red it won't show under NV as an actual colour, just as a plain tracer round)...... Locate the file called -> projectile_effect1.rsb <- if ya want to do it yaself?? ( Located in \Ghost Recon\Mods\Origmiss\Textures ) and use Photshop to mod the colours to your taste and away you go !
-
Thats more like it hehehe.....If mine could do it yours should breeze it and then some Taff lol !
