Balster, Is the YZF 426 an American designation for one of the YZF's. Cos never heard of one in the UK lol????? I had a ZX9R too amongst other bikes (the list of bikes I've had was in one of the posts here lol)!! They were Kawasaki's input at the Litre class Superbike but they have never really been rated or classed as one over here, they are labelled more as a Sports Tourer!! That could be why you didn't like the position much, if you had been on a Fireblade, GSX-R 1000 or a YZF R1, GSX-R 750, ZX7R or even a YZF R7 (if you could finds one rofl), then that little lot are what a Supe

Rook..... Funny you should say that, with the Ti516 64mb I had it did make a slight difference if there was no AA more or less like you say (that only ran at AGPx2 at the time thos due to a Mobo restriction which didn't help obviously lol)!!! With the Ti4200 128mb it makes no difference if AA is on or off (not that is generally detectable to the average human eye anyway rofl)!!!! I have another rig that is basically on loan to my sister for her daughter and that has an ATI in it and I deliberated whether to go for an ATI when I built this or the NVIDIA, literally for weeks rofl. It

It's not bad to do at all Ruin ! Don't think your board has a software option to flash within an OS but the following link may be of use to you and hope it helps out (think you said in another post that your sig took you to your system specs etc, if that's the case this should be the info you require and it looks like you have 2 ways to do it) Epox BIOS Flash Support Sometimes it's necassary to do it with some boards to enable certain functions etc and it can be a benefit depending how long you've had it, that's even if they have released a later end user Flash to the Factory setting

ROFL....... Lottery obsessed then??.....NAHH lmao . Sounds like a nifty piece of work m8 nice one, if ya dig it out and happy to share (if you have the PsiWin software and lead of course lol), then upload it to ya comp and send the source m8 lol (beg beg grovel grovel, rofl hehehe)!! Can't say I went that mad with it but gees you must have got good with it lol !

Rook, yes I know lol !! I was saying it made no difference to the jumpiness if it was set at 4x anything in general (the point being that if it was up at 4x that was the problem), it doesn't say it was anything to do with a specific card etc , just the fact that 4x seems as if it's a little too much full stop!!

Hehehe, Ya just never know these days lol ! Let us know how ya get on !

I have a different card but if I whack the Anisotropic to 8x and the AA up to 4x (doesn't matter if Quincunx or normal either) as well I get the odd touch of lag within GR but everything still remains crisp as you say (V-Sync always on too and refresh rate @ 85) !! GR can be quite demanding and if you have everything maxed right out then it's not surprising there's a little jumpiness!! If I lower Anisotropic to 6x and AA to 2x and have all settings maxed in GR tho it's absolutely fine.....Try that and see if it helps, you won't notice any difference in game, it will still be awesome !

Yeh, pretty much what I thought lol....Thanks Rocky ! I have a Series 5 but it's not really much different to the series 3 fundamentaly, (my dad had a 3a too, and before the 5 I had a 3c, still got that somewhere lol)!! They are handy and as you say the OPL is actually quite functional too, glad I'm not the only one who fiddled with it rofl, generally getting it more wrong than right 80% of the time tho LMAO! If they could create a greater range of the Psions with colour I don't actually mind the size of them too much so you can retain the keypad etc as that is so much more useful tha

LOL Havok.....Know what ya mean about NFS HP2 lol.....It is a bit of light hearted fun Solo and generally a good game but not much good against humans etc!!! The MicroProse GP series are reasonable online m8 . 3 is good although dated now but still not bad considering its age, but 4 is obviously going to be better still and the tracks are obviously as used for the international Formula 1 series, and they've done a good job of them too having actuallt ridden round a few in real life too. I didn't think much to the Nascar either but it's all down to personal likes again )! The game is good

Hehehehe ! Good luck with it all that's the main thing, and bet it will feel like months till it's arrival and you can put ya baby altogether with it lol ! As for ya CPU, I have the same CPU and temps are 32 C idle and 36-37 C loaded with the AMD HSF supplied with the CPU here but all systems are gonna differ slightly as with preference !! I was thinking of changing it for a highly recommended Volcano by a few on the Forum but as you can see from those temps I'm not in any hurry to lol. It doesn't require changing at all from the stock HSF but no doubt it will be eventually in the in

LMAO....... Ruin, as said before, hopefully all the information will prove useful to you and you will choose to suit lol. Whatever you do don't post up about whichever products you do go for when they arrive cos ya know what'll happen hehehe!! You'll get a dozen instant posts stating that "you should have gone for the other as that ones crap" or "mines better than that, you've chosen the wrong one" ROFLMAO I knew that this would probably eventually turn into a big ###### Contest despite my direct quotes not once, but twice saying that my input was nothing more than just some addition

Hey Tyovan ! Glad the idea of direct contact with the Forces has appealed to you and obviously best of luck with it all m8, it's certainly well worth a shot and you have nothing to lose by it at all !... (bit of a bummer on the 15 month wait tho isn't it......DAMMNNN)! Only a couple of reasons then lol, but I understand ya wanting to do it totally!! As for the pay though, yes you may be better paid in the UK Forces although it can depend TBH, (US servicemen from the one's I have known being Ex-Services too) have been awarded far better benefits and increments etc for specific things too

Which Psion do you have out of interest please Rocky??? I have one too and must admitt been threatening to upgrade that for a bit although it's not essential as it's not too bad the model I have got! My dad had a Series 3, that was OK'ish for a few basic things etc (certainly very reasonable for its time too), but not brilliant by moving standards lol! Not really looked into it recently and wondering if you will notice a huge difference by changing up from the Psion you have or just some small extra's and functionality etc now that you've looked into more recent stuff ??? Any good reco

LOL Rook, that was my point albeit I left it a little subtle, that it's often a trade off and a contradiction between going for practicality over looks lol ! I never said the Xaser was different to any other cases and only commented on it's looks and how it's performed for me in general too if you re-read what's there m8, I've not once compared it against any other products deliberately to avoid any scuffles lol (I even made the point of saying I wasn't claiming it was better than any other case out there....... I'm still not claiming it's the best case at all ! The details were fo

Practicality is often the better route before spending out $40 on eye-candy and frills, but obviously it's down to good old personal preference of which we all have our own ! Ya kinda robbing Peter to give to Paul there tho Stinger lol!! As per your point with the LED Fans, one case may be prefered for looks by an individual over another product too lol, so that kinda puts that into the equation as well. Why skimp on a structuraly solid and quality case that's going to last well and see good reliable service for the sake of LED Fans that do exactly the same job as normal fans but admitted

They are the real temps m8 lol!!!! 32°C idle and basically 36-37°C loaded ! This is what I mean about you slating AMD so frequently in so many posts too (and the passionate arguments with Rook as well hehehehe ).... My point being there that the AMD HSF is performing here as well as the Intel seems to and how do you get to a conclusion to make such bold statements as one is better than the other when you know little about AMD???? Many agree with you as do I, Intel's kit is very good but If you don't know much about AMD etc and their products, how do you know Intels are

Mark, hehehe.....Sorry, got carried away there m8 rofl!! Some Sazooks seem to suffer more than others actually. The GSX-R has actually weathered very well against expectation, they are putting a little more effort into that side of things than they have in days gone by but they certainly aren't as good at it as Honda I agree, but don't discount them on that front alone as it is improving and there are the other benefits like the gearbox and FI on the Suzuki is sublime compared to Honda's, engine and handling wise they are generally on a par TBH and often more down to personal preference whic

The Logitech Wingman FFB is OK'ish for about £40 if you wanted that effect in with it too! Otherwise the Thrustmaster Afterburner (or II) is pretty cool and has some nice actions and functions for your price range !

Rook......Think I saw something in one of the above posts that said he already had his PSU, Ruin just needed a newer case to put it all in basically lol!! Thought some of them shared the same design of case "structure wise" but it's all good isn't it lol. Even if they all designed their own there's not exactly too many configurations or too much you can actually do with the interior of one anyway is there lol. A case is a case and it's all fairly standardised. It's just what they do too make them look good on the outside and the extras they put in with it that makes the difference and ma

Oh no, ya did it again Stinger rofl...... As per a different and recent post, my Athlon XP2400+ after bedding in is currently running at 32° C idle and an impressive 36° C loaded (sort of flickers between 36-37 actually), surprised?? I thought I had a big problem with something faulty and not recording temps properly, so then instantly set about installing the Stand Alone Temp Probe and the Mobo monitor software that I hadn't quite got round to to make sure it wasn't under reading on me and I was infact cooking the thing without my knowledge rofl, but it's checked and verified !. Thats

Hehehe, May pay in the future to visit Crucial.com and get ya RAM there, big savings and reliable brands etc too ! If your "Staples" branches over there are anything like the ones in the UK when it comes to computers, then next time you can borrow one of our "English Barge Poles" to not touch them with hehehehe
-
Yeh, Like Jack says just use any start up disc (win98/ME) and get a command prompt and type Format C: Get the warning and the Prompt for Y/N to continue and away ya go ! I actually got it to do it from within a MSDOS command using Format C: once too, lord knows how but it did it rofl ! I think if you do it from within using the MSDOS command prompt that you had to enter the volume label tho (example -> Format name-of C-drive <-), not just Format C: Try that too ! Even if that only formats it in FAT32, once you use the WinXP disc for re-installation it will reformat the

Hehehe..... Well, glad ya enjoyed checking out the Xaser cases anyway Ruin lol ! They look even better sat in front of you than in the pics too I promise ! FYFI......You can probably get a Xaser II now for around $80-$90 which will save you a fair bit for other goodies and the extras it comes with are very good too, but at the same time it isn't turning you into a cooling freak like you were trying to avoid as it simply does the job for you, the Xaser II as a package means you don't have to go mad afterwards getting more extras and should meet your general needs ! Have a decent H/S
