so, i went to the mall a few days ago and was really excited to finally get this game in my hands. I got home, threw it in, and started playing. My first impression was very good...i love the OTS view, and how the squad moves. However, after playing through about the first six missions i noticed something that i really did not like...the fact that a barely trained north korean walking in the middle of the woods on patrol, without any type of vision assistance can spot a highly trained american special force squad, using night vision and laying behind trees and in bushes, before the 4 people in the SF squad can see one of them. Im sorry but that is total rubish. Even on "normal" difficulty, the accuracy of the enemy at any range within about 50m is absolutley incredible. My squad and i will be on our stomachs, crawling at the slowest pace possible, it the woods, at night and all of a sudden a n. korean bullet will tear through my dome! I have seen a couple posts on here that people say they have gotten close enough to tie someones shoes...again, im sorry, but there is no way that could happen in this game. I think 3 things definitly need to be changed in the game. For one, the stealth factor of the game needs to drastically increase. while playing, i dont feel like i have an advantage anymore which i would really have in real life. secondly, i think you should have a lot more control over your squad. If they could somehow make it kind of like Full Spectrum Warrior, where you could "select" each person in the squad and move them to different places. in addition, you should be able to tell individual people to cover certain areas...and for god sakes...when i say "hold position", i mean HOLD YOUR DAMN POSITION!! just cause i go off doesnt mean that i want you to run to me like a stupid dog. I do like the fact that the squad uses the frags effectivly and that you can have them man the turetts and take out vehicles...that was very well done. but being a squad leader means you have control over a squad...i dont feel like i have hardly any control over them. another thing...as i remember, our name was "the ghosts", so why are we running around with guns that sound like a freaking tank cannon?! They should have far more scilenced guns, 2 pistols doesnt cut it. overall, i do like to play the game, but every time i see a patrol of 3 or more enemies, i know at least one of my guys will get hit, as i said above, i just dont feel like i have an advantage anymore. on the contrary, i do like the fact that if you snipe one guy in a 2 man patrol, the other man will run for cover, very realistic and that was one thing that bugged me in GR1. i wouldnt say this game is horrible, but i think it could be improved. I do have one question though: is it possible for the developers to change the single player parts of the gaem through online patches? like could they make it so it is way harder for the enemy to see us? or could they put scilenced guns in the campaign, all through patches on xbox live?

yeah, ive noticed that too...but lets be honest here, xbox live is only half of what the game has to offer, what about the other half
