Are you useing a shortcut? maybe deleteing it and sending another on your desktop will help. Wenever I have ghost recon running twice is when my mods folder is like 5 gigs big and gr takes 20 minutes just to load (ok Im exadurateing 10 mins) I occasionally forget if I double clicked or not so I do it again and cause all sorts of problems. maybe that is a problem for you or you have downloaded some 3 party tools that may cause it. a lot of ifs on this one I guess the question is when did this start happening or did it always happen from the beginning. and if it just started what did you download or change prior to it?

I have been able to do it useing igor and the blue lines (window at top) to line it up after a few guesses I have been able line it up its a good guide if you just cant figure it right.

for some reason soto our clan server required 2346-2349 to work. dont know if that helps

If you are trying to connect to ubi then you are stuck. If not you can change the ports used in the multiplayer options when you and a friend are getting together. Other than that I dont believe there is anyway around it.

Just so you know when you just change the rsb files only you will also change the desert siege map as well. I have found no way to have gr not associate your "new" map files and not have it change ds map too.

I had that problem there is an old forum that is there that gives links if the ones here doesnt work.
Isnt it a wonderful trying to play a night map in a dark room and all your characters are black.

I for one would love a tutorial on this. I didnt think it was all straitforward like you have said. (maybe im being dense) I know I am missing something little. Sometimes we modders need to be handheld until it hits us between the eyes

Before GR I hated first person anything. Then my friend had me play with his clan and I have been hooked ever since!!! For my brother, he thought it was boring. That was untill I capped him in the head when we were on the same team (brotherly love right? (trustme I dont do that in ubi)) he got so mad that he was like thats it gloves comeing off! now we play AT LEAST once a week. my advise would be to get ready to be addicted!

The answer to all three questions is yes anthough I personally wouldnt do the last one. I would do what the others sugest and reinstall.

yes avery but you can delete the shortcut and it will solve your gr woes!
Bring up the sticky key menu by rappidly hitting the shift key. there is a button at the top of the window (sorry I havent had to do this in a few years) its like advanced or poperties yada yada yada in that new menu there is a check box that says to enable the shortcut. uncheck that you are done.

Ok I have done some work with wireless before and I noticed that mac airport uses 802.11G. It also says its compatable with 802.11B if you are useing 802.11B it uses the 3.14 Gightz frequency range. That range is used by most cordless phones nowdays. You may be getting dropped packets due to interfierence. Just something to think about.

Ahhh yess the dreadded sticky keys I always take that off. The most annoying thing when durring play.
I personally use a diffrent configuration for gameplay. I use the always run option in the gameplay menu. this frees up the right mouse button for the moveing command map (default key is m) I do keep the shift key on run as well when I want to walk keep my reticle small.
dunno if this helps but useing the key config you can customizeit how you want.

Also (heaven forbid you do this
) if you want to change in igor a gun in a mod like island thunder. You need to have that mod as a active Mod in the game. Otherwise igor says goodbye every time you try and open a gun in island thunder (same for maps I believe). Anyways when I starting makeing sure it was an active mod igor hasnt been a crash glutten!Brass

What kind of frame rates are you getting? Is it skipping because of lag? maybe we are attacking the wrong angle of the problem? you said you can fix it by lowering the resolution? that sounds more like a lag thing. Let us know.

My guess soto is that there is more ports that unreal is useing that we dont know about, or he is useing firewall software like zonealarm or blackice on his system.
To daemon
I sujest only leaving the dmz on at minumal times (like when you play). You are leaving yourself wide open for attack if its a dedicated server. (its like how I felt when I accidently picked a pistol in team play) I dont personally like to be that trusting or like to format/reinstall 24/7. This is why soto gave such a harsh warning. Other than that you may want to read about port forwarding which is what all this is anyway.

Well Im not sure what I can say. First what kind of mouse do you have? or more importantly do you have the latest drivers for it? (That fixes 90% of all problems) Second are you doing something like useing an optical mouse on a glass table? Give us more info Please so we can help you?
