Hey Guys and Gals,
Longtime since I have last posted, but I fully support the words of the wise. Having an updated game which captures the essence of the GR series would be tremendous. If the game is being developed by Red Storm, that could be a step in the right direction. But to be devil's advocate for a moment, how many of those people who actually developed GR still work at RS? Anyway, whoever ends up developing it I wish them all the best of luck and I have faith that they will get it right this time, they just have to
One thing I hope they take into consideration is matching and tournaments, again, if they make the game modifiable then the community should be able to take care of the rest.

Interesting, > 170000 views but ya no interest in GRAW2... then again, I guess it could be us three or four ramining players just hoping for a patch of some sort LOL

Ya but it puts you at a disadvantage when playing Multiplayer... you need to be able to see in the fog and need to make the tree's skinner... you know GR1 tactics LOL
Man I remember playing in clan games back in the day with a smoking machine and playing 800 X 600 with most setting on low... what a shame..

Right now only 22 or so peeps have filled it out.. I would be interrested to see what the total outcome will be.. it would be interesting also to see the size of the community..
Even if someone wants to recreate the poll here on GRNET..
Once the poll is filled out by the majority of het GR1 and GRAW players... you'd have to be a ###### not to be able to get the majority of the settings correct if creating the next installment..

AFZ REPEATS AS CHAMPIONS
Congratulations once again to the GRAW 2 Power House AFZ team lead by ROCO.
This is AFZ's 2nd consecutive Trophy title in as many tourney's and they now have a commanding lead on the rest of the pool in points.

The task was not as easy against AOD this time as it was last time as AOD pushed AFZ to the brink.
But AFZ was able to hold on winning the FInals 3/2.

Just a side note: The 'PLAYERS' Championship will be taking a little break for the Christmas and New Years but the action will begin with a fury come January 14th. The next battle will be SIEGE
Who will be the team to wipe out AFZ .. watch for the Sign up post in early in the New Year..

I also noticed to that shooting in bursts work well with the gun. Hold the mouse for a sec and then release and hold a sec release.. usually in that second enough bullets fly ti get a kill.

Stuff this PC business!
I went out and bought myself an Xbox 360!
Got GRAW 2 as well..slapped it in the xbox once it was setup.
Xbox went and dloaded some updates for itself.
The GRAW 2 started, told me through xbox live there were updates, went and got them..dloaded all the map packs..and bang! Suddenly I have plenty of content and new maps. And oh how painless it all was. Not considering buying the xbox which I was getting anyway.
Someone up there in charge of the PC game ought to wake up!
Hmmm, I guess you can feel proud for you purchase.. maybe UBI is smarter then we give them credit for..
I can see them now.. GRNet forums list.. add 1 more sucker to the list.
Of course I am just being facetious, well sort of.

Again, I have no clue why UBI would not deliever the MAP pack they all know we would die for. That's guarenteed sales for UBI. A patch to fix the game 1.05.. in January, the map pack.. GRAW2 sales would sore.. and so would the map pack.
Sell it as a map pack and bundled as well.
This is guarenteed money.. I can't be smarter then those guys at UBI .. can I ?

I think Sunday night's work best for us.

It has been some time since I have been in this neck of the woods..first off, a shoutout to all the old vets like myself. I hope this email finds you and your families in good health and wealth
No althought I am not a nahsayer.. I have a feeling the reason the RSE staff have been let go, is because they had debates with UBI on what kind of a game we would truely love. Knowing UBI enjoys dissappointing us all, UBI could not stand for supporting this community.
Again, just doing some old School GR thinking...
