This is the one where you have to take out the fuel trucks, then blow up the fuel depot? change the grenades to sachel charges; then Starting from the insertion point: I move up the right side of the map, just on the other side of the out cropping that lines the road; after moving forward slowly (crouching) you will come accross 3 bad guys, take them out - usually if you are sneaky enough you can use the ranged grenade launcher; then keep find a little cover on that same side of the road, and use the gun camera and wait; in a few minutes the convoy will come to you; take out the three guys on the jeep, and then hit the lead tanker with a few doz. rounds, it'll explode and take the other three with it; very promptly, (if you are still facing the road) three bad guys appear to your left and three to your right, take them out asap and you will get a message that there is a comand vehicle coming yor way; stay behind the out croppings and move back towards the insertion point; before you get halfway there, an APC shows up. you need to go prone, and wiggle up close to the ridge, and toss a sachel charge; be careful, even the apc has a cannon, and there are +/- 6 more bad guys accross the road now. again, two sets of three on either flank; at this point I cross the road, more along the other side behind the hill, and eliminate the other 4 bad guys; head towards the farm, eliminate its guards, resuply and plant the charges (after some killin') and head towards the extraction point.

About 8 or 10 days from the time I bought it until the time I finished, but I was out of town for two, and had my in laws in for two. So not long at all. This is just a run and gun shoot-em up.

Playing on Live is as good as GR, whether coop or adversarial, there are some great defend games. You will like it, especially if you can find some like minded people.
What specifically disappointed you in the SP campaign?
For one, I guess I was dissapointed about the lack of strategy - The first interation wasn't perfect, and some would argue it wasn't pretty, but to my liking was the need for strategy; you needed to think it out, and coordinate between the teams. In addition you needed to select the guys that made up the team, and equip them, and that added another layer of strategy. In addition, I think while the AI for the bad guys was improved, the AI for the soilders was a little weak in comparison. I can't tell you how many times they fail to take cover, or get shot at close range by one guy that walks up in front of them. I am certain I will like cooperative mode, I just wish I didn't need to plunk down another $150 for the adapter and live subscription to get more than a few days enjoyment out of this game.

I finished the campaign last night...... and I am not sure if its a good sign that I feel like it went by too quickly.

I agree, in lone wolf I can sneak up and on people or hide. With the team, forget about it.

I was thinking about buying the wireless adapter to hook my Xbox into the 802.11g network I have at my house. Really it would be just for GR2. So is it worth the $90 adapter, and the $60 subscription? And, if I have DSL (cable not an option) is it going to suck, and am I always going to get my but kicked due to lag?

At the end of each mission I get a message telling me I have earned points to unlock "Special Features." What are these and how do I use them?

Yeah, its a glitch - I sat there for a while, and then walked down the road, killed all the guys in the villiage, blew up the tanks and walked back to the bridge. After sitting there for 20 minutes I aborted, restarted my Xbox, and tried again. 2nd time they announce the armor is on its way and everything went well.

Dude,
did you get through this one - I thought the fisrt two tasks were tough, and then it was easy. All I can say is once you fire, the game penalizes you for standing still. Not like GR one where you could be methodical - this is a little faster paced.
