Well you could copy THE ENTIRE WSV folder - the Character and actor files over. That would work.

I've had it happen to me lots too! And every time I had to deactivate mods via modset.txt in the gr root folder. RSE/GR is now a part of my "favorites" for quick access. -
Silent Op, You could always just copy and paste the map folder from WSV to BotHuntWSV. That should work. I gotta try BHWSV. This is just totatlly awesome!
