Seeing that the thing that killed the Gamecube (I think) was using a non-standard media type, I am worried about getting either the XBOX360 or the PS3 before they are both out. In my opinion, I believe that BluRay will probably be the next media type since it has a higher Data cap. than HDDVD, but, to me, the XBOX 360 looks to be the better system. What are your opinions?

Can't you get a cool deal that you get 50% off for the first 3 months? You could, in a sense, by Frostbite for $25 or so for that. Just make sure you don't have to sign a contract.
