Alot of us mod with Max only(for the model) but you need PS or PSP for texture work.
Like i said im using Max 5 and have no problems what so ever, no errors nothing. Do not use the plugins from DS, their old and will cause errors.
I just installed max5 put the plugins in the right place and loaded max..works perfect.

Oh sweet ty, so use the HX5 chopper and tag it as a tank or jeep? Surely not the Blackhawk? I couldnt be so close and yet so far could I??!!!
tyThe HX5 one is already tagged has a tank, the IT one is tagged has a helicopter. So all you have to do is download HX5 and put the helicopter in your mission.
What i mean by tagging is in 3D Studio Max when you make the model. You have different ways of setting it up for different vehicals(boat, jeep, etc.) when exporting, so you cant just go into igor and change a helicopter to a jeep becuase it has to be retagged has a jeep in Max.

Download HX5 and use the chopper. The IT blackhawk doesnt work in MP but if you tag it has a tank or jeep then those work in MP and can be riden in.

Just to clarify some things.

You have to reach 5 zones on the map. You have no backup. Same as in GR2, except you are no longer limited on weapon selection to only a silenced pistol (based on fan feedback, in fact, from here).
I remember people saying the silenced pistol didnt have enough power(having to shoot enemy with 2 clips), but never giving them a rifle. I dunno it just reminds me of rambo.

Stupid AI, 3rd person- im glad GR2 didnt come out for PC.
I wanna play the maps so bad though, they look great but not with a controller. I was watching the guy play and he sucks really bad with tactics..walking out in the middle of the road, shooting a group of guys and shooting the enemy thats actually shooting last, walking past enemy, not covering looking both ways before running. The thing is though is he survived, if this was GR1 he would have been dead in the first 30 seconds.

I ran a mile in 8 something mins, it was a full run never stopped once. I think i was running to the video store before it was closing with my friend.
Id think if your not that in shape you might not make it, and the fact sometimes if the closing time is say 11pm the people working might lock the doors at 10:45 if no ones coming.

You having problems with XP and Max or another OS? Im using XP HE with Max5, and its working fine.

Yes you are right, you can not import a .map file back into max.

Theres no letter e in all of it. The fact that e is the most common used letter in english is why its unusal.

You need:
35 zones- in the zone properties, you need to check "Point" and for each zone put a number.(so for your first zone you put point 1)
Base zones- In zone properties for "Base", theres 0, 1, 2, and 3. Thats the green, red, blue, gold smoke bases. Then you have tr0a, tr0b, and tr0c so on..thats where you spawn at. The first 0,1,2,3 i forgot which base color is which so you have to just check it out.
Central Zone- Zone in middle of base with "Central Area" checked.
Then the you need a zone for "recon insertion" and another for "recon extraction".
For Assault Platoon you need to do it like the spawns, you need a assault platoon 0 zone, assault platoon 0b zone, and a asssault platoon 0c zone, then so on for 1,2,3.
Mission insertion and extraction zones.
Look at the polling center mission zones and it should give you a good idea where to put them.

Doesnt look like its even gunna get close here. The news said it will be alittle gusty and might have some scattered showers but thats all. Cant complain after Ivan and having my power out for a week, im just happy that its not coming close.

The error i think is just a notice. It shouldnt effect anything ingame.

1-Collapse all the leave mesh together
2-Collapse the trunk
There you have 2 meshes now. Put the O point and group.

Before exporting your map, you should delete the .sht file in your map folder. Map sure all your textures are in the map folder, and make try using a sky texture that is used in a map like castle to make sure its not the sky qob messing it up. There could be alot of reasons why its crashes.
