  1. do you have to use the GR cd or IT cd to load up ghost recon with all the patch's(1.4).

  7. i use those export settings and my guns turn out just fine.is it the gun your talking about,the guys,or the tanks....i have no clue .but if its the gun did you scale it right....wait what your Ruin what am i asking you that for ...im confused

  9. i started with a hk handgun from a tutorial.it was really just the basics i just use any good high res. picture i can find on the internet you can go to Pains that is who showed me out to model they are on your DS or IT cd you can look at a movie pain made and he shows where to put them if you have good ideas your not.
  10. awsome Argyll...the only think i wanted to ask is why dont you put the trigger for the m203 or shotgun...cause i was thinking that if you put the chr's hand infront of it that you would see it without the trigger.
  11. go into igor and then sound editor then your mod and see if there is a green dot by the music.if there is a yellow dot press the button on the bottom that is really long
  12. i need someone to cut and resize some of my gun pictures that i have for textures cause when i go to load a game it takes a little longer to load like 4-5 guns.cause one picture is like 1024 x 512 and some others are like 512 x 256.there low poly(around 500).if you feel up to it,its just 4-5 pictures then reply with your email..ty
  13. yea if you dont have one in your mod your weapons names with show up as a [findkey_gun] or something like that so when you put it there it will show up as like M4 sopmod
  14. Marcinko i use for the 2 bottom units on the export screen i put to inch.i saw a website that had it RIGHT HERE is but for the 3ds max units i use centimeters is it works fine in GR but to load 4 guns seems to take longer then loading like a grm4.8 gun
  15. just go into igor,click file up top then mods and you should see it says new mod or something like that just click that and put your mod name in the little area that is the only thing i use igor for too.

    doesnt the scale big the object bigger or small in size not thickness. see this picture i got from swartz(just a diagram swartz) see how the sight itself is alittle extruded(thick)

    if only i had a picture of whats its dong.im getting confused from what you said and what ruin said.it sounds the same but when i followed but your instructions as best as i know about 3ds max and it is still doing it.its all fine about both sight ends its just the middle part of it like this for lack of better stuff say this is the sight [==] well the middle part == is so thin that it becomes almost invisable all i need to know is how to make it thicker and i will be set

    ok ruin.ty..i sent you a pm but you box might be full.i asked that for my sight and light JTF-2 said to indent them and for them both i made a cylinder and just detached the front and back.So when i click the front detached part and move it back it side of the sight looks like its gone and its real thin.so you would i go about moving the sight front/back and light front alittle back

    Thank you all for the support im making another one like it but it will be 9mm and probably camo on it.but yea ruin i been trying to figure out how to do that i was going to put a light grey but i cant figure out how to change it.and i will indent those lenses ASAP..and for my question what does collapsing to mesh really do and should i use it before exporting.

    no its a cylinder(the texture end is alittle big to be a silencer i know) i just deteached the end of it.and when i export should i collapse to mesh and what does that really do
  22. here is a m4 its got a tac light,red dot sight,and ready mag(if you look at the bottom of the magazine there is a hole to put your finger though to pull it out when empty)its mostly done.this is my first real high poly gun i usually make them around 500-650.polycounter says 1070 after opitimze and face deleting.The picture is alittle messed up but thats cause of the jpeg setting the real thing is high res. hosted by geocities so here is the url http://www.geocities.com/ifgrt/m4-silenced.jpg -paste it into your address url this is just 1 of many guns in my mod
  23. ok it got fixed some how when i exited and restarted it.i started to get scared for a moment
  24. the little balls on the texture screen have become a light blue which is making my texture a light blue how do i make it white again
