  1. I Did find a way to change the explosion.......

    on the prj file there's traditionally a "0" "1" 0r "3"

    try using "2"....set the speed up to about 8000

    and decrease the size to .00001....

    You have a projectile that will tank out a tank.

    {weapon needs to be a (5) }.

    Post explosion the target glows radioactively...

    and the ground shakes nicely.

    Of course I put this into the Unreal Mod and

    call it a dinosaur bullet. Put the kill ratios at

    12.9 and 3.9 and it will make the dinosaurs fly into the

    air a little when you shoot them.

    In Unreal I think all the enemies start off with 8,8,8,8 values.....

    You can push these to 12 and get decent effects......

    stamina is actully determining the speed they run i think......

    i set the skeleton enemies at 22 speed and you can hardly see them coming......

    now That is a ghost........trouble is they like to crawl a lot.

    Go into the mission files and increase their readiness values

    if you want to keep them on their "feet"....

    I also always give the enemy a slight advantage by placing a default weapon

    kit file in to give the enemies a few samples of the new mod's best weapon....

    experience tells us Someone always sells a few of the best weapons

    to the enemy. Heh heh. I worked on the Hanson Case.

    I was trying to make a Clown Mod (a la Real Men)(or killer clowns from Outer Space) where the enemy would explode with a pop....I thought a red misty type1 pop would be good....or different colors....the paintball mod changes the color of bullet splats....but i couldn't accomplish the same thing for the larger explosions, using the billboards. They're always yellow.

    I thought just painting absurd patterns on the uniforms would be good enough.....perhaps clown faces .....

    but they kept crashing...Mac photoshop,

    and I had a hilarious wwII nazi troopcarrier that would

    actually bring six saurs from the bank to the hotel, in a motorcade......of eight vehicles....

    if you set them Real hostile like harntrox's assault on a farmhouse

    (where you end up with thirty bodies piled in one staircase)

    You can get a decent clown effect.....;.

    but my clowns kept crashing.

    ....is there a transparency control?

    I had floating skeletons/ weapons......

    put them in a bird and remove the texture file.....

    they even show up on the map.....

    they're sitting in invisible chairs though..

    Ooh......if you change your texture files....Always backing them up....

    you can get a totally metal bank or change your castle walls to

    semitranparent ice......use the bullethole textures to change your

    holes to glassfractures. Use big tankgun bulletholes for

    a nice iniform metal thud, even in the farmhouses.

    If I had a farmhouse and thirty rebels statintg there

    I'd put aluminum siding on it. Just figures.

    Oh and I tediously add microphones to all the

    teams to explain why they're so smart.

    I think they're from Alpha Squad.
