Hey Ronin, out of curiosity, do you have any design back ground, or perhaps a related work field, or perhaps just plain intrest that has you running this forum section/conests?
-
Nice one Ronin, its a little washed out tho
-
Just wanted to say good job guys, there are some nice enties here. Unfortunatly I wasn't able to make a n entry my self. (I dont have a computer at home so my time is very limited) But great job!

Another little fact along the disscussion of vector's is that fonts are vector based, this is why when scaling a font it always retains the exact same shape and appearance. Now you know!
-
It's also a very good idea to keep all logos vector based, it'll save you many head ach's along the way.
-
I choose my size because its more close to the shape dimensions of an accuall poster
-
Darn I'll definatly get in on the next one
-
I would definatly like to see the option, no matter what type I am playing. But until they wake up and get rid of the 4 man squad it isen't going to happen. I was playing world of warcraft the other day and some guy proceded to ask me if I wanted to (insert four symbols like this one & or !) Its not uncommon to see this kinda thing.

le Tigre replied to EasyCo's topic in GR2 Console - General Discussion
Theres lots of games out there that offer that kind of experince already, I like GR because of what it offered, you couldnt, and still cant, find it anywhere else. -
Official GR2:Summit Strike Weapons List
le Tigre replied to Serellan's topic in GR2 Console - General Discussion
Cool, Im glad SD weapons are in this one from the get go, I never understood that one when GR2 was released. Looks good. No Binoc's? -
Multiple squads Switchng characters Replays Missions that take advantage of the diversity found in Mexico, not just the city

4 New SS renders at Blackfoot Studios
le Tigre replied to Rocky's topic in GR2 Console - General Discussion
Gee, thanks. ← I would say that the lack of "soul" comes from the lack of open endedness in the maps. The maps them selves look pretty, overall, darn good! The problem with them comes from the accual game design of a more linear playing game. Overall a bad choice when making GR2. Much like the mostly urban setting is in GRAW. Mexico is a very diverse country, and a great location for a Ghost Recon game, why it's not being taken advatage of boggles me. -
4 New SS renders at Blackfoot Studios

The maps designs in this expansion look awsome. -
Those map designs look awsome! Seriously, their amazing! Whats with the AI tho? Like seriously, thats brutal, they are just sitting there looking at you and not firing in some of those videos. So Im assuming they still never put multiple squads back in? No character switching? That ruins the game for me, too bad Id love to play those maps.

GRAW PC screen and comment
le Tigre replied to SAF_Night Scope's topic in GR:AW (PC) - General Discussion
I dont think anyone ever claimed the three screens from before as accuall PC screens. The file names would lead one to believe so however, but saying that I have seen the exact same ones recently on diffrent sites which refer to them as Xbox screens. I would go with Razz's word on this one. tho it would be nice if this was cleared up on the Official forums. EDIT: Re reading it, mabey its exclusive to the official forum go'ers? -
Im about all faith'd out at this point
-
If they dont give us some PC info at E3 they can just shove off, its exactly how things started last year, Im not going through all that crap again
-
They didnt say anything about GR3 PC being anything diffrent from the consol versions. At this point we are back at square one and anything is possible.
-
Oh good point, Maya support, I cant stress my desire for that one enough!!!
-
They have 6 mabey 7 months to build GR3, don't get your hopes up
-
I read this point over on the ubi forums and is very important to me. I want to know who is accually behind GR3 on the PC. Is it the same guys that were working on GR2 for us? As much as I want, Im sure we wont be seeing any real info on GR3 until E3, where I would assume they are going to show things off. But I don't know why we wouldn't be able to get this info. Serellan, PSekula, we see you guys both around here alot, and it warms the heart a little each time I see you. Mabey you guys could answer this simple question for us? Or see if your aloud too? It's such a little detail, but me

I really could go on here all day, and I agree with pretty much every point so far. I just want to make a few things very clear and add even a few more ideas, that Im sure have been said time and time again. First thing, Sniper82 just said it, Modding. Not getting something would be a hge slap in the face, IGOR was great, I know a lot of the modders are looking for something more with GR3, so hopefully we get even more this time around. We have seen some amazing things with GR1 mods, just think what would be possible. Secondly, to kick the dead horse, replays. Nuff said there. Hit d

Replays, replays, replays. (Hi PSekula) Oh and command map. I would really love to see the ability to draw on it in real time. This would add a great new level of tatical gameplay. Kit restrictions, I would like to have 100% control, like a list of all the options and you can "select" any weapon you dont want available. As well as a few preset types.

Hope your listening RSE. I also want the open endedness of the first to come back.
