When I do a coop defend I only get DS and IT maps, none of the original GR maps.
I had someone (who's GR maps DO show up) send me the missions and GTFs for the mission folders in origmiss, mp1 and mp2.
I replaced all those I had with his and still no original maps.
Any ideas? also is there a way to edit or even look at gtf files?
I thought there might be an allowed mission list in the GTF.

I've made a bunch of maps (not mods) that have actors, weapons etc. from other mods.
(this was when I first started using Igor and didn't know better)
and if I run a server when the map starts, of course, the other players crash.
Any way to make them server side, or
if not, how do I make them serverside when I create them, if thats possible?

I create a new mod in Igor, make it the default folder, and when I finish the mission,
it doesn't save actors, environments, kits or anything else but the mission in the appropriate subfolders under the mod
folder.
I've tried both clicking and unclicking the activated mods box in file/mods in Igor but nothing.
I want to leave those other mod boxes clicked because I want to use some of the actors etc. from them (not to the
point of copying someone else's mod) I thought Igor would put whatever files were necessary for the missions in the
mission folder.----?
I have read the tutorials, but nothing I've found touches too heavily on this.

I created a mod that is:
All the stock maps without any enemies so you can go through unmolested and scout out good spots for ambush, sniping, etc.
Just a hiker's map for finding good spots.
The mod just has the folder with the name of the mod and the modcontents file within it, and the mission subfolder with the missions in it.
I loaded it and ran it with this modcontents file in it:

NAME "scout mod"
AUTHOR "joblo"
SUPPORT "jobloe@whatever.net"
VERSION "1.0"
and it ran just fine.
Then I thought I had missed something so I ran it like this:
// Mods Contents
NAME "scout mod"
AUTHOR "joblo"
SUPPORT "joblo@whatever.net"
VERSION "1.0"
MULTIPLAYER "Server-Client"
the diff being the MULTIPLAYER line, and again it ran fine, but only once.
Now I can't CREATE GAME in multi, it crashes me to desktop, even if I try:
the mod unloaded
the mod loaded without the MULTIPLAYER line in it
the mod loaded WITH the MULTIPLAYER line in it
I've even deleted the mod folder out of Ghost Recon.
I did notice after playing it with the MULTIPLAYER in, it created a save and replay subfolder under the mod folder.
I can play on other peeps server with no prob, just can't create a server.
Any Ideas? THANX

I don't know if this is the reason (running Igor and GR at the same time)
but all of a sudden my t bird 1.2 started running really hot.
It started right after I was doing a bunch of mapping, (couple of days off for
the really important business of modding) and in tribute
to AMD, and this is no bull, it ran for a week @ 150F, and will still run if I put it
back in. I replaced it with a 1.333, ($60), and yes, I'm doing the same thing
with this 1.333, (hasn't gotten over 116 yet) but at 60 bucks and the
fact I'm building a scream-box in a couple of days, I don't really worry about it.
I was playing GR in heavily effected maps and nothing ever crashed.
It cut down on my heating bill to boot.

I hide zones in my startup cause I don't want players walking through them and prematurely tripping them, but they aren't hiding.
I've re done them, both on the map and in the script, have all zone names right on map and in script, but no go. Any thoughts?
