    Ok, Im going to get all this done right now, and let you know how it turns out.

    Yep, the problem has to be GR, because I run Windows XP Professional, and I have all the GR's installed on the PC, so its not scratched.

    Check back soon, Ill give you guys an update.

    Alright, Ill give every bit a shot, any recommendations for anit-virus software I should use to scan? I have so many choices, we get the copies free at work...

    So I was just curious, what you'd recommend?

    Yep, Ive done a full manual un-install of the program .

    I checked the directory, file is not there...

    I can post an image for you of the error that is coming up.

    Im wondering if its Direct X by chance? Is that possible or no?

    Open the file modsset.txt (found in your GR directory) and ensure that the only thing in this file is as follows (copy and paste the text below exactly as is):

    //MODS SETTINGS - LIST OF MODS ACTIVE ON THIS SYSTEM

    "\mods\mp1"

    "\mods\mp2"

    I have both folders, however I couldn't find a file called modsset.txt

    Hi, I use to be a regular user of Ghost Recon, however I have not played in a while. Just tonight I just re-installed ghost recon, and every time I click on my ghost recon icon, it comes up and says

    'Ghost Recon.exe'

    GhostRecon.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close

    Does anyone know why this is being caused? Perhaps my directX version, I do believe I have 9, but maybe need to re-install perhaps?
