  3. You're joking right? How many rumble teams are around in GRAW? CDN and CGI maybe AOD (don't think they were AOD at the time) out of more than 50 teams. Searching for link to the rumble ladder (coming soon) AOD gose way back we were on the rumble back around 2003 and there was fragpin an squad games and yes AOD HAS been around along time I always got you guys confused with VOD back in the day. I didn't say they all played in the rumble. What i mean in one's that matched. GSTA is still around, PW (was PF), i have seen some BSR and xcal's. Btw we were (AFZ) in the rumble near the middle/end. I also see Winx (or however there name is) RS, Core, 30+ ...want me to keep going? Just because there not matching at the moment doesn't mean there players aren't enjoying /playing it. Old timers doesn mean Rumble Zul... how many times do i have to beat that in your heads over at TCZ LOL!!! You name all these teams with a few players playing. how many of them are matching? I know BSR isn't, xcal doesn't exist they split and most joined RAV which used to be S&D and they aren't matching. I know RS isn't, GSTA isn't, PW/PF isn't, 30+ isn't. want me to go on?

  7. That's what the modders are 4... and now you can download maps. ah yes. download map, restart graw, find server again, start to load, find out they are on another map, download new map, restart graw, find server again, start to load, find out they are on another map... see a pattern?
  8. Can someone please explain that to EA & the rest of the BF2 community? I don't follow. You don't play BF2 against static AI. And since scripted missions with more than 4 players are not possible the real modders (alpha squad) can't really do anything with it.
  9. Look around and see how many [Ghost Recon] teams are left. That should let you know if you want to try it out.
  10. give it a week or two. playing the same maps with the enemies will get old. I loved it at first but it got boring real quick.

  13. Not sure if this was an issue in the beta as I wasn't part of the testing team. I know that the masses get disconnected every round sometimes, but all the time when next map loads. if some things werent adressed it has nothing to do with ignorance, its just a matter of limited time. I think the issues not addressed are pretty major to the gameplay. i mean you get no feedback on how you freaking did when you played or you get screwed out of a spawn if you are put in an inescapable area of the map. addressing the server crash and disconnects that didn't happen to me in the beta. maybe they changed something after the beta that brought this up.
  14. What was the purpose of the beta? To find issues, present them to the developers and get them fixed. Since we know that the developers read these forums we can assume that they ignored or decided the problem was not significant. two things that i have noticed so far (others have different issues that I have not seen yet) 1. stats in [GR] coop mode do not record properly. This was addressed in the beta. not fixed 2. spawn on leader gets you put out of the map sometimes or in an inescapable area. I see this was not addressed either. Any other problems from the beta that are still in the final release?
  15. This is soooo freaking awesome that I just wet my pants!!!!!!! coop up to 12 unless it has changed from the beta.
  16. I have a SATA drive in the current computer I built. I have had no problems with it other than the initial installation. Remembering that it was not plug and play friendly I did not want another SATA drive till they no longer need third party drivers in order for them to work properly. it's seriously not an issue really. hit f6 during install and then use a floppy.

Technically you can patch your own game, upload it to your server, and run the sads exe and be fine. no need to buy another copy. yes it will take a long time to upload and you have to go through the process everytime there is a patch but it is technically a sads. It's not what was really wanted but it does work.
  18. i thought we were still using agiea physics even without the card. they make software physics programs just like havoc (stated by the CEO at quakecon). the ppu just enables more realistic physics ie particle physics instead of rigid body physics.

  20. this looks like an upgraded GR. doesn't look as nice as oe2 (crysis) will but it still looks great.
  21. they are stepping towards the proper direction. it's not polished but it works.
