You see budgie....you didn't experience first hand two large buildings that was with you since your birth destroyed before you with blast powerful enough to rival a small nuke. Not sure about the best miniun. There is a minigun in the equipment download section of this site. Its a cool minigun in my opinion. @mob......I'm including some silenced .50 cal rifles in game heh heh. A silenced hecate II .50 cal in 3 colors from hitman's hecate mod. And a nice silenced .50 cal m82 rifle. They are cool ingame. And you can only hear them when you up close to them. heh heh. If I keep adding guns it delays mod more lol. But there are at least 3 more comin in. A boyes ww2 anti tank rifle, a cheyenne model 200 military .408, and gonna ask earl from vympel mod to dona

Ok. My thoughts on that are to have for the broadband guys just one big download. Because theres no way to avoid this not being a big install. However for the 56kers and such I am discussing with the mod assembler to have this mod broken into pieces for easier download. Perhaps a file splitter can be used or something.

Ok. heres the thing................ I am considering an idea and I need your guys opinions. I will ask this in the general mods section too. We are considering having each gun have 2 .gun files so we can have a restriction for easy guns and more realistic guns. That way the guys who like grm4.8 type guns and guys who like more realistic weapons will both be able to like the mod. What do you think? But this will delay the mod a bit more.

Well frankly I don't care much about teleportaing matter. Teleporting light is much more fascinating because it has to do with way advanced communications. Think of it! The end of lag as we know it!

ETA? I'm adding a few more rifles to the mod. I'm working on the cheyenne tac .408 and snowfella finished the windrunner. And I'm gettin somebody to cover some m82 with moss and netting. Also, I want to add just one more big rifle then i will finish up the rest of the secondary weapons. The last big gun will be a surprise (hint WW2). And I'm trying to get some kool sniper skins. What about you guys? So where are the other modders with cool sniper missions?

I just took a look at the m16 ghillie rifle in idf 1.3 and its cool. But I'm sure the community can do better than that. And be more creative. Its nice but its just simple angled geometry to look like leaves. Somebody should try to top it. It will take a while I know but its something to shoot for.

Oh? Which Gun? I will try to find it. I guess when I say next step maybe I mean its not common enough in gr mods. We should see it more for snipers.

SF 1.4.1 ? Which mod is that again? How did your rifle turn out? I realize it must be hard work. My uncamoflauged NTW20 20mm AMR took me 8 months to do..........don't laugh! I griped over every little move of a vertex and waited till I got just the right texture pics. I don't know what your experience was like though. I would like to see how your gun turned out.

Can you guys go to the skins section and read my post about over the top bushrag.com type skins? Can any of you do that for the game?

Can anybody do these at all and put them in game?? I guess it would have to do with putting alot of attachments all over the body and/or alpha blending textures. Is there any special modder up to the challenge?? I had put up this challenge before but nobody really went for it. Maybe guys out there now might want to take up the challenge? If you are then let us know if your interested then hit the drawing board.

HI. For a while now modders have been able to camoflage guns by simply changing the color for its texture. I want to encourage modders to take the next step. If you notice the default m24 rifle in game it has leaves hanging off of it. I believe that is done by drawing boxes around certain sections of the weapon and adding an alpha blended texture of leaves or other coverings. Can someone attempt to do that on my suppressed M82 rifle donated by Black Sabbath? But please try to do even more elaborately with larger leaves or webbing. Try to experiment and post pics of your prototypes

The thing is I am waiting till grid networking gets more involved in mmogs. That way its supposed to cheapen the monthly price next to nothing. Because while I'm intrigued.....I don't want to play 10 dollars a month to play quake. No matter if I am nuking hundreds of enemies at a time. That would be cool though! Using tactical nukes to take out several at a time.

I know you guys haven't heard from us in a while. But thats because we have been trying to work on the mod. A beta for testing is being hanged up by a few issues. We are just trying to fix obvious errors and waiting for skins and weapons from certain people. And are trying to finalize deals to include missions for single player and some maps for both single and multiplayer. We will let you guys know in when its ready in the general mods forum. Stay tuned.
