Ya know..... playin ghostrecon all this time and other tac sims I've never really noticed the arm patches. As I have tried to warn the admins in the past...... That 4 new pics and a couple comments WILL NOT satisfy people all the way til may. They need to come out with a PC SPECIFIC trailer video using IN-GAME graphics and tactical gameplay if they they expect people not to go nuts til may. Look, if the game turns out to be a MIRACLE and actually something worty of the name ghost recon....THE REAL ghost recon (not the console versions) then heck, I'll buy two copies. I'll hang out at widescreengamingforum.com and heavily promote the game. Why that site? Cause I'm getting a large widescreen lcd soon enough. Perhaps the delay is a good thing because its gonna be a while til I can get the large lcd. In all truth don't care that its delayed. I only got real reallll upset because It seemed that they (ubi) was continuing their policy of favoring the consoles over the pc game.

This is definitely a good post as long time I couldn't read in GRAW threads. I fully agree with you: also for a much smaller project like a mod I'm always checking the script of a mission again and again to make it better and better and I'm trapped in my same scripting. I'm also in the opinion (and it's only may opinion) that a demo could be not perfect in such a way GRIN (or geenerally speaking a developer) could hear the feedback from the biggest (and free) beta tester team available. It's also true that if someone is disappointed by the demo he will not go to buy the game when released

But still.....a video. Even with the new screens I doubt that several of my buddies who have already given up on it will be convinced to look again. Oh, and just in case you think this is a rehash of an old thread well....its not. There has been recent developments that would indicate that the mod is in late beta stages. In fact, there is an update as recently as today to their site. Although, the update is of an slightly off-topic and sad nature.

Keep an eye out for the Insurgency Mod for hl2. It just might be one of the best tac sim mods for a game....ever. Its been mentioned before I'm sure but you need to look at the latest updates. Insurgency Mod for hl2...............
