Rocky........ the demo is out. I understand that there was some graphical hiccups concerning the nvidia drivers. I used 84.21 and that seemed to fix it. And there are a few bugs here and there in the demo. .........fine. Now putting that all aside I want your HONEST opinion of this game. It has been several years now so I don't even need to go into what needs to be talked about. I am not saying to blast GRIN nor am I saying to give them high praise. Now when you say friends IP you mean the external IP right? Because I am on a router at home. So if I give him my external ip then how do I map my internal ip to the external ip? I mean, I will need to set port forwarding with the correct port right? What port number is that by the way? Please help?

I can appreciate that up to a point. But when your laying flat and the gun shouldn't be leaning up against any object then you should be able to point that thing wherever you need to while prone. So unless Rocky was in a specific situation then this is definately something that GRIN will have to fix.

Can you review what problems these beta drivers address and what effect the drivers had on fixing them? And what is the name or number of the beta drivers in question?

Ok then good. Then that means its just a matter of developing skills for the game. I assume that so far your able to find good cover so you can move unnoticed to the objectives? At least, close enough till ya gotta fight.

More stuff that GRIN should take note of. But despite the iffy A.I. that I'm sure will be addressed you brought up something more important....... The enemy knows where you are all the time? Do you all think this is also an issue about A.I.? I mean, instead of the dumb teammates it could be the total opposite where the enemy is "too" smart? I hope thats something they can correct. This is a special forces game for goodness sake. And Bo is supposedly from spec ops. So I hope its just a technical problem. Yessir, its zero hour. Its judgement day!

Its just something that needs to be added to an official list that GRIN needs to address in the inevitable first patch. Perhaps Rocky needs to start considering creating an official list that he should maintain. He could listen to all the stuff people report and write it somewhere in a sticky that will eventually gets emailed to Bo. What do you think?

I'm hoping its just that its hard to cope with all the extra traffic with the demo being out. But umm...it does seem to take a long time for you guys to clear my simple posts. What the heck? Even if HDR and AA won't work together (for now anyway) then why isn't there a setting for it in the game? I'm hoping this is just an oversight on GRIN's part and that AA will be included in the full game....... .............ya think?

I'm sorry but there is no way a real U.S. Sp forces unit....or any sp forces unit worldwide worth its salt would give up on a mission if the team leader goes down....unless they were ordered to abort. Correct me if I'm wrong someone.

Who here has a setup similar to mine: amd 4000+ 2 gigs pc3200 system ram 6800gt PCI-e 256mb video card audigy 2ZS audio card ample hard drive space and dvd-rom and cd drive. If ya have a setup similar to this run the demo and benchmark it. Lemme know what I can and can't do with the game. I sure as heck know I will be able to run it its just a matter of how much of the game I will get to see.
