How about a WW2 vintage US halftrack with a mannable 50 Cal. and open roof that could carry tangos ?? I know that this is not in keeping with the vehicles pack time orientation but I think halftracks look cool !!

Has anyone released a mod of different character types, Afghan, Iraqi, etc., that could be incorporated into user created missions ? I've seen some posts with different models but haven't seen them released as such. A compilation mod would be terrific !!

I was really impressed with the StarGate SG1 mod and thought that I would like to create a mission. I've been able to create missions for other map mods before but for some unknown reason, my attempts with this mod have failed with CTD's. I created a duplicate folder of Ghost with all the mods that I've downloaded that are compatible and renamed it StarGate mod. I've created a shortcut to IGOR to this folder and can access all the maps. I can play the original StarGate mod with no problem. All that I have done is to place a few actors making sure that the mission can be played single,multi,and team. I haven't scripted any events yet so that a conflict there would be unlikely. Any suggestions ??

As far as I'm concerned, nothing works as well as play-testing, especially with coop missions. It really helps to play with a bud so that you can take notes not only on script errors and omissions but mission pacing as well.

Great post !! I never could quite set mines up properly and in a coop mission my buds would trip a mine and kill me. I think I'll have another go at it. thx rcrph

thx for the advice. If I may ask another question, it is my understanding that team actions are followed in a top down order. If that is the case, then if I wanted my team to run in a set path, pace should precede path. But, I can't get the team to run the path. I have orders set as follows: 1. Enter vehicle {(the crrc which takes the team to the beach ) I've scripted that proximity to zone unloads the team } 2. Pace 3. Path 4. Patrol. What am I missing here? thx rc

I'm trying to script a mission where friendly forces approach a beach in a rubber boat, exit the boat, then follow a path up the beach to confront hostile forces. I can get the troops into boats and have them exit when approaching a zone, but I can't get the friendlies to patrol a path. I must have the orders (path,patrol,combat,move) out of sequence or have orders under trigger plans where they don't belong. I tried to execute the plans by scripting path,patrol after the tm exit boat . But this isn't correct. Any suggestions ? My player platoon can get out of the boat and move but the rest of my teams(1 team per boat) just stay put. thx rc

I would like to have the player platoon ride in a convoy of trucks which is later ambushed. How can I get the members of the player platoon to stay on the trucks while the trucks are in motion ?
