[IT / DS Won't Install?!]

Ok here's whats going on :

I put in my normal GR cd, install the game, then pop in the gold edition CD, and all it says is "uninstall ghost recon" "launch ghost recon : gold edition" and so forth, but when I launch it I don't have the IT/DS mods?! what gives? It like wont let me install it. The only thing it can do is uninstall.

Desperate need of some help, thanks guys

where can I get the RSB converter for ghost recon? to make those stupid RSB files into another photoshop capable file, and then back to RSB, or w/e?

Am very very interested in making some maps, I do have 3ds 6, and and pretty new to it. Was wondering if this is the only program usable to make maps for ghost recon, or is there another one? Or is it the one to create them, but will I need more programs to actually make maps work? Really need some help, maybe a personal tutor to add to MSN Messenger that could help me out, that would be awesome. Thanks Alot guys =D
