so do you support the troops, who are going through this on a daily basis, wondering how many of the guys, they just trained and helped, will be at the business end of their m16 a week from now? and those that have to live with what their teammates did?

if you dont like the word i chose, im sorry. But did they or didnt they leave the IDF side and join the insurgents to fight against the US, in fallujah? they did! There has been certain people who are leading attacks on the US and other Soldiers and those are the people who were trying find out where they are and who they are from other prisoners we interrogate. Its a hard thing to have the people youre trying to help, leave you and fight against you on a flip of a dime. thats why some of the interrogations get ugly trying to find out who these people are that can control the people we just trained to fight against us. and not only are they fighting against us but also the iraqis who want the things we are trying to give them. so do you support the troops who are going through this on a daily basis wondering how many of the guys they just trained will be at the business end of their m16 a week from now? and if you noticed, i was only talking about the (IDF) ones that have acted this way.

read the whole thing not just pieces! in fallujah, the newly created police force has left to fight with the insurgents, i.e. against the people who just trained them and helped them. its kinda like that commercial, where u see a husband and wife in bed in a hotel room hearing noises from the next room of a man hurting a female the wife looking at the husband like"arent you going to do something"? the husband shutting off the light, doing nothing. that husband is a coward.

The War on Terror isnt a war against a group of people, its a war against a tactic. Tactic being terrorism? if so, its only "a group of people" using this tactic, right? So you have to try and find a way to surpress the ability to use this tactic as much as possible. kinda like the israelis against the palastines? And considering that there arent enough troops in the world to completely occupy the middle east, pssst, you might wanna re-think that! this "group of people" really upset a few other (Larger) countries by kidnapping and killing innocent unarmed humanatarian civis. like Suadi,Iran,italy,spain,japan,china,russia. you need the local populations as sources of information. To get the local populations, you need their trust. This is true, and in some parts of iraq aswell as in ghanny, this is happening Were not fighting terror with terror, if we did, it would of been a parking lot by now. Its plain to see that your against the US for the war in iraq and in ghanny, if you noticed whats going on in iraq, the same has been going on in israel for a long time. Yes, we can pack up and leave at any time, leave the democratic govt we set up there to fend for its self, but we (the US) already know that if we did that, they would all die and the army and police force that we set up would crumble, *"cause the cowards in the group" and theyll end up following the guy with the biggest gun, because thats what theyre use to, living in fear, having to be spoon fed their lifestyle by the guy with the biggest gun, well America has the biggest gun, and were not going anywhere far from the middle east. you seem to forget that it always gets worse b4 it ends. also after the first war there the people hated us for leaving them to fend for themselves and so were not trying to do that again. this time were staying and helping them and its getting to the point where the people who first said "you left us once b4 are you going to leave us again?" now theyre saying "ahh hey guys we believe that you want to make up for last time, but you guys can leave now we think we can handle it". In a sense, yes, it was wrong for us to do the things that we did, but the information that we got helped us (for the greater good), so we let alot of prisoners go home. Some prisoners might have died under our care, but you have to realize, for the people interrogating them meant going beyond the norm and crossing the line to get the info they wanted/needed. whos to say they didnt give up where saddams officers were or where the stockpiles or caches were hidden or even who it is running around placing the ied's and whos helping him. *notice when you stay civil, the longer the conversation goes.

i completely understand what youre saying about the US obeying the GC. I remember when our troops got taken (making them pows) and that the other half of them, were executed. When people talk about the GC, its funny how people seem to forget about daniel pearl, nick berg, paul johnson, that italian hostage and robert jacobs.

when was the last time any middle eastern country obeyed the geneva convention? Or in fact when was the last time terrorists (from these middle eastern countries)obeyed the geneva convention? you cant compare militias/rebels/terrorists/religous zealots to armed organized armies which was the purpose of writting it in the first place. did mogadishu obey the geneva convention? how about fallujah? if canada and the US got into it, the GC tells you, you have to treat prisoners a certain way thats why the GC was written. President Bush can negotiate the GC laws.

not to fuel the fire here but like as said b4 many of your reservists or guardsman were probally active duty b4, and even though joining the service and protecting your country just to og college compared to the other large percent of americans who sit on thier buts and do nothing but complain atleast hes honest enough to tell the truth and say hey to better myself and get a college education for free or half price ill serve my country and goto war and due my time. whats the difference between a guy who served 4-8 years as a reservists or guardsman to active duty and compare that to someone who hasnt joined at all or even guys that have done 6-10 active duty years and still have the ability to join, fight and serve their country and dont. something to think about. atleast he served his country and fought and isnt sittin in his home complaining about this reservists or guardsman or active duty person doing this or that.

i dont see how i could of gotten off topic? didnt the first guy talk about the prisons pics and didnt 9/11 kick off the war on terror? so i guess "interrogations" about al-qaeda and other groups in iraq and foreign groups acting in iraq, werent being conducted, my fault. and besides only a few soldiers got caught doing this but that doesnt mean the other 135,000 are just like'm. i agree too, support the soldiers.

if you ask some of the 9/11 families, what they think of us dressing up and photgraphing so-called pows, pretty much just making fun of them and embarrasing them only to get information from them about wheres this guy or whats going to get bombed next or whos gonna get kidnapped,assinated or executed... compared to their loss, im not sure what they'd say, .
