"Mercenary Sniper in Iraq" Seems to be a bit of a negative title. Anyway, this video was originally posted on ar15.com. The guy you see in the video is actually a member there and comments on various things in this thread.

I've noticed they recieve good reviews on amazon as well. I hope to read them in the near future.

I had not heard those before, thanks. Well they sounded... INTENSE! I hope they release video to go along with those.

Yes, it's very cool. The nail gun is my favorite though.

I'm recently finished reading Michael Shaara's novel about Gettysburg, The Killer Angels. I hadn't picked up a single book on the Civil War before reading this. Heck, the only reason I even started reading it was because it's required reading for school. At first I didn't think I could get into something like the Civil War, it didn't seem interesting. I was dead wrong. The Killer Angels is a masterpiece. Since finishing it I have been looking into other books on the Civil War, and I've been reading up on guys like Col. Joshua Chamberlin and General Pickett like there's no tomorrow. I HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone interested in the military. Even those of you who only read things on Delta, SEALs, SF, ect. You will enjoy the book. Amazon has great user reviews that cover all the stuff I forgot to mention. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detai...311929?v=glance Have a safe night, Chuck.

Blackwater Private Contractors in Iraq
ChuckThunder replied to firefly2442's topic in Real World Military
Wouldn't call PSD's "Merc's". They provide physical security for clients, train security forces, ect. Defensive roles. PBS did a thing on them not too long ago, you can watch the entire thing online. http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/shows/warriors/view/ By the way, Blackwater does indeed has several state side training facilities that millitary, LEO's, and even civilians can receive lessons. Blackwater even has it's own air wing! http://www.blackwaterusa.com/ -
I was just going to post this, hehe. Anyway, it's a must read. I was in tears because I laughed so hard.
