  2. Not only have I turned off the second monitor but I have also turned off the multi-display driver to match the settings that I have at home. I'm not a graphics programmer if that's where you're going. I'm a back-end Java developer that is currently concentrating on moving customer transactional data out of our data processing center into our accounting system.   3. I have never had GR run on that machine before. However I have an identical machine that I use to work from home that runs just fine. The only difference between the two machines is that the office machine uses dual 17" LCD monitors both running at 1280x1024 while the one at home uses a single 17" CRT running at 1024x768. I'm a programmer and I work very hard to keep both machines in synch so that I don't have to worry about the "But it works on my machine at home!" syndrome. rjsjr
  4. My Ghost Recon base install won't start. When I launch the base install off of CD I get the logo and then a dialog telling me to reinsert the CD and try again. Fails every time. When I install the 1.3.5 and 1.4 patches I don't even get the GR logo, all I get is a tiny white box in the center of my screen and then the same result. All system information contained in DxDiag notes below.
