Yes the map takes some time to load (not so much here) but anyways i use ESC which brings u a mini map(u can zoom in) with no loading time. Also there are some missions edited by 6thsense where they add a "quick map" which u can select in ur action menu, so u can move and check map at same time. Maybe more people will use this in their missions.

There are tracers, but they can be disabled depending the difficulty level. (not sure but could be a bug where u cant disabled them). The sounds, there are some problems with JIP, where it doesnt let u hear the friendly fire, u just hear the bullets hitting. But enemies firing for sure u hear them. Im talking about full game, not sure about demo, but never heard about ur problems. Even if u are not playing the hardest level u can press ESC (mini map) and see some red triangles = enemies.

Yeah that mission sucked big time Lighty I ended driving an enemy UAZ with Fox (he couldnt walk anymore) into a town. Kamikaze style , cause it was boring for me. We had to go to bed but i hope we can play some "real" missions tonight (for us 22:00-23:00 GMT+1). There are really nice ones (usermade).

I dont know what u do but its "really easy" to know where u are Pressing K ull see a compass so u can know what direction u are facing, or from where enemy comes, .... Also pressing the map key M it will take a bit to load/exit the map so its better to press ESC so u only see an small map (u can zoom it a bit). About the mark, u see a triangle and an small "line" showing where u are facing. why do u always type in caps?, its hard to read About the language patch, what it does its to create a backup folder(PatchWise.bak) with all the folders/files changed so when u want to install a new official patch u just put back the original files and thats all.

Actually pre-release there weren't so much videos. Most of them from game conventions recorded with handy-cams. But the game was released in Czech rep and Slovakia almost 3 weeks ago, so many of new videos come from those users, but also unfortunately since it was already "cracked" the starforce version, many other people have had access to it.

The map is huge, there is a lot of ground to cover. Those screenshots look absolutely amazing!! Does anyone know what type of SP or MP modes ArmA has? Will there be a SP or MP demo coming out soon? They will start working on the demos once the game goes gold in ALL eastern countries (Russia, Czech , Poland, ...) And yes there will be a SP and a MP demo, but as i said before, we dont know when they are gonna be available.

Why dont u try to contact UBISOFT and explain them ur problem? At the end the is "their" game/product. Thats what i would do.
