Did u try the Alpha Squad Command Grids?

Its not a mod so u dont need to activate it to use it. It changes the files but it also has an installer to go back to original ones in case u dont want the new grid maps.
i think they are really nice and clear.

I read in alpha forums that it will be a full download.
It will be avalaible first for people playing the tourney.
I dont know what will change but for sure the soldier class, there will be some differences. For example demo soldier will have charges or claymores and if u want AT u will have to be an Anti-Armor(or however is typed
) soldier class.All this reading their forums, right now i cant access them. Maybe u can or just try later

Maybe i shouldnt post it but these are the requirements for Alpha Mod v2:
This mod requires Ghost Recon version 1.4 and the following other mods:
1. Desert Siege
2. Island Thunder
3. Standard Upgrade v1.1
4. DTD Team Mod v1.1
Standard upgrade is on the download of the mod and u dont need to download it, it will be installed when u install the Alpha mod.
What u need to download is the DTD team mod v1.1.
Just go to this page:

There u will see the main ASv2 mod download link and the link for the patches, if u read the page(is a copy of the readme file) u will see the requeriments and the link for the DTD mod.

Armoury m16 is at ghostaholic i uploaded it today.

Also sometimes try to use nightvision.
Not all the time but use it to take a look for a few seconds, many times u can see the shadows further.
