sorry. have't been around here for a couple days. i'm REALLY busy lot's of school work and exams next week anyway, i had to go back and do them all. Most of them are just logic, look at the root and prefix of the word. anyway, i'm pleased to report that i'm: 24/27 *jumps for joy*

oh! are you talking about the rim of the scope???? you want to make it thicker right? you have to extrude the vertexes twice. you need two sets of vertexes on the front part of the rim, and then another set pushed inside the rim the make the "indent". That doesn't really make sense. i know. i'll try and take some scrennies.
-
not to sure if this is what your talking about but, if you want to make something thicker just select the verteces that make up the object and select "uniform scale" by right clicking. i'll see what i can do about getting screenies of what i'm talking about. but i'm affraid it won't be for at least another week and a bit 'cause i've got exams

the way i "indent" my lenses etc. is as follows: 1. right click on object and convert to editable mesh 2. select vertexes from the sub-object menu thing 3. select all vertexes on the end of the scope 4. right click and go to "extrude" then polygon (i think that's the one you need) 5. then just click and drag your selected vertexes. Do this twice (so you have 3 ends of the scope kinda). 6. Scale down the vertexes you just extruded 7. move the them back into the scope a little (make sure it looks right) i hope this all makes sense. Good Luck!

what is the Canadian version of the "black watch"? and what is the "original" black watch
-
model looks great. the only thing i would suggest is to indent (for lack of a better word) the lenses on the scope and flashlight.

lol, ok. Send the Beta over whenever . The vest I will do ASAP. how's about some more pics of those new .chr's?
-
that's pretty hard to believe. Really? wow. What other things did the show say (for those of us who didn't see it) that we didn't already know?
-
i actually knew that one. 20/23

sorry, just read that question: ok, so this is obviously Morgan. They are still building the Plus 8/4 ( i think) and they DEFIANTLY have wooden frames. There's a HUGE waiting list for those. I'm not sure about the Aero 8 (thier new one). It's got many fancy new things like an Aluminium honeycomb et all, i'm not sure if it uses wood (i am leaning towards "yes" though). well, don't wanna be anal here but...they would know "real horsepower", the thing they wouldn't know is torque (or handeling for that matter). You can get A LOT of power out of a tiny 2L, 4 pot engine if you bolt on a big

what about Lotus, Chaterham, Westfield, Noble, McLaren, Pagani, Ascari, Porsche, , ? I bet you haven't heard of a least a few of those. The first 4 in that list are built in england, then Pagani In Italy, the Ascari in Italy or england (not sure), and the Porsche of course in Germany. I agree with you about BMW, they make some of the finest engines in the world (currently), and the new M3 is ! Anyway, your entitled to your oppinion and I respect it. Don't take this as a flame

i've never tried to do kit .rsb's. I'm sure it's not that hard though, just time consuming. (time, precious time. it's something i don't have a lot of right now. my exams start next week!) how's that BETA coming? PS, i know i still owe you that vest and the desert camo guns. don't worry i haven't forgotten.

uh oh! don't wanna disappoint ya there bud, but the max range in original GR maps is 400 meters (maybe yards?).
-

oh man, I don't know that much about cars from before my lifetime (except for the real classics). But if ya ever ask a question about relatively modern cars....i'll see if i can answer PS, include Eurpoean cars (they were always better than the ones we get over here in North America ) I have no clue, but...B.) Lincon?
-
man, i've been waiting for this for a while! Thank you Argyll!!! just d/ling now, i give you some feedback once i've had a good play through the mod!

ya, i think that's a good idea. I really hate clicking through 200 kits to find the one i'm looking for. Spread the pistols out. just an idea, if your gonna spread 'em out: why don't you match pistols and primary's. Like if the primary is an M4, make the secondary a US pistol. If they are using a SIG primary, give 'em a European pistol??? This might be WAY to complicated but whatever

i'm on a roll! 17/20

lol, ya, no worries man. it took me a long time to figure out how to use it. It's kinda complicated. If you want to "subtract" a n-gon from a rectangle (for example) 1. select the rectangle 2. go to compounds, boolean. 3. on the tab on the right, there should be a button that says "instance" (or something like that). select it. 4. again on the tab on the right (you might have to scroll the menu down)there should be an option to select "A-B" 5. click the button that says "pick operand B" and select your n-gon 6. delete the n-gon, and you should be left with a hole in your rectangle.
-
the boolean tool lets you "subtract" one shape from another. For example, if you want to make holes in something. The boolean tool is located (in 3dsm 3.0) in the "compounds" tab. The button looks like one blob breaking away from anohter, the tooltip cals it something like "connect compounds". Once you select it, a different menue should appear on the right. select Boolean and play around with it. hope this helps, good luck!
