looking really good. The skins for the baddies are amazing. Some of the SAS/SBS skins (the ones at about the middle of your page) are a little undefined, they don't seem to have a lot of detail. (it could just be the lighting though). I'll looks forward to this mod, thanks Mehn.

ha, sorry, i don't have the stickers anymore. It's the "pro-model" of some Brazillian guy who they sponser. Good helmet though (i would know, i've eaten dirt landing badly on my bike going off some dj's (sorry, dirt jumps) and the helmets integrity hasn't been affected at all. It's taken a beating) I guess military applications puts a helmet though a whole different kind of stress.

sounds pretty useful to me. I know i'd use it. It'd be good for checking textures to see if there are problems or whatever (which is quite a hassle to do in-game). So yes, if you've got time, it's a good idea. Thanks.

What servers do you guys normally play on? I played it for the first time last night. Once I found a good server it was great fun. Takes a while to get used to the speed though. Anyway, ya, what servers?

Thanks for the link RR_GRT. That movie was amazing! There was an article in the Globe and Mail or New York Times a while back about a new breed of movie making. It was all about using avatars in computer games as actors. This is one of the best examples of that i've seen. Extremely impressive.

Looks good Razor. Esp considering it's one of your first models. 2400 should be fine in GR as long as you've got a decent computer.

This is true. Haven't had it happen to me (sounds like the start of an urban legend) but guy I know had it happen to him. ← now you know two I had that problem too budgie. I tired a few things to get around it. I'd use a different .rsb pluggin or use the .rsb<-->.bmp converter (should be in the donwload section) If that didn't work, I would just give up. Oh, and sometimes the size of the image made a difference. I could sometimes only save stuff that were a scale of 1024*1024. good luck! if you can't find the converter, I think i might still have it somewhere. I

Same happened to me. I think it's a bug. You've gotta use ASE Check their tech help forums to see how to cinfigure ASE to Tactical Elite. -lol. Hoak, beat me to it. This game is great! I played it when the first test came out, and now i played it when the update was released. It just keeps getting better. It would be really fun on a good server. See you online!

I got HL2 gold from Steam. downloaded fine, very fast, especialy considering how many people were probably trying to use those servers. Installing and playing just took patience. Everything worked fine though. About running Steam: It doesn't make a difference. Doesn't use up comp resources. It gets patches for you when you ask it to. Just set it up so it always prompts you before it does something and you'll be fine.

Ya, i saw the demo reel swartz. That is very, very profesional stuff. I think i heard the modeller say that the he only used a single 1024*1024 texture for each character! and Chems, since you brough up 5th SFG, i see there's a new locked private forum here. Is the mod still alive or what?? (maybe it's just an old forum that became visable...)
