  1. I bought GR Gold Edition but I still get the same results. I've installed the same GR Gold on two other PC's and it works fine with them. The problem must be with my PC. Can anyone read my dxdiag and tell me if there's any clues in there as to what's going wrong? Thanks.
  2. Tried that (completely uninstalled GR as per the instructions on this forum - RS folder was deleted by the uninstall shield). I even upgraded XP Home to XP Pro on this PC and re-installed - no success. Can somebody check out my dxdiag and see if there's any clues in there? I'm seriously thinking about re-formatting and re-installing everything just to play DS & IT. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.
  3. Have you tried deleting ubi from the registry?
  4. Tried it - no luck. Same thing happens again, the hourglass pops up then nothing.
  5. That's right, nothing pops up. When I uninstall everything and re-install GR only, GR works fine. But as soon as I install disc 2 (DS & IT), the problem starts. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
  6. I installed GR Gold Edition. First disk was GR - played fine. After I installed the second disk - nothing happened. When I click on the GR icon on my desktop - nothing happens. When I click on GR from the Start menu - nothing happens. When I click on GR from Windows Explorer - nothing happens. I have another PC running XP Pro and it works fine on that one.Can someone please help? Here's my system specs: Windows - XP Home (5.1 Build 2600), SP1 CPU - MSI MS 6580 2.4 GHz Intel Sound - Realtek AC97 Video - Nvidia GeForce FX5200 DX - 9.0b Sound Driver Version - 5.10.0.4050 Video Driver - 5
  7. Once I install IT and I click on the GR icon, or run GR from the start menu, or run GR from windows explorer, the little hourglass pops up for a second and then...nothing. If I uninstall everything and re-install GR only, it works fine. The problem is with IT. I have another PC running XP Pro and I have no problems with IT on that one.
  8. GR works fine but when I install IT, nothing happens. I've uninstalled and re-installed several times, but I always get the same results. I also followed the instructions on completely uninstalling GR, but when I deleted the GR folder inside CO7ft5Y, I had to re-install windows. I couldn't even get to safe mode. Here's my PC specs: Windows - XP Home (5.1 Build 2600), SP1 CPU - MSI MS 6580 2.4 GHz Intel Sound - Realtek AC97 Video - Nvidia GeForce FX5200 DX - 9.0b Sound Driver Version - 5.10.0.4050 Video Driver - 5.6.7.2 System RAM - 512 MB Card RAM - 128 MB DXDIAG: ------------
