The 60mm mortar. Impressed a few of my 11C brothers with a Direct lay, 2 round adjust, 3 round Fire for effect on a pickup truck as a target. The 3 Rounds were all metal on metal, very satisfying. I'm not the quickest on the gun but damn accurate. The range was somewhere around 1100meters to.

which btw, i had the pmag ran over by an uparmored humvee just to see if that test passed. Its a damn durable mag, it just doesnt like the dust much makes loading a bit complicated, starts to not lock into place, gotta give it a good hit on the bottom.

I kind of turned a blind eye to this game for some time... I'll see a screenshot and say wow thats cool, editor is pretty similare, dynamic fire nice idea, cryengine heavily modified cool....
But...I don't recall it either sup. In any case what you get these days with most shooters is 3-6hits to kills... so I wouldn't be surprised.
Problem is to many developers now are trying to make games feel more like hollywood movies instead of recreating reality.
Personally if your going to make a shooter (War Combat stuff ) it should make you want to blow some thing up, feel sick, have an adrenalin rush and cry at the same time.

no kidding snow, the models these days easily reach 6000.
I will say a few things that look like strange....
The big plastic hand gaurd has been replaced in most units as a picatinny rail and the shoulder peice on the butt stock seems a little small to me, the end of the m16mag port area also seems flat... if i recall right it also slants the same as the rest of it does.... other then that it looks great.

All I gathered is you can trip balls on it upto a certain amount before it kills you. Cool shrooms though, better then the flipping stink horns we had growing by our house. Smells like catpiss so bad and looks like a dick

BioShock is systemshock 2 underwater basically. it can be tedious at times trying to find equipment/gear and killing enemies. Has excellent enviroment though. Im only at the part where the crazed DR obssessed on plastic surgery started mutilating womens faces. Its good stuff.
Prostreet has some merit, the racing is all close circuit roadways or tracks. Kind of lets you down at times for it being a NFS game. Still fun to mess around in though and modify a car or two. I will honestly say wait untill it is 5$ lol.
Vegas was what I was expecting, just a fun time shooting retarded enemies on a linear playing field. Its a shame they actually call it rainbow six but nonetheless it is in the mix for a tomclancy game somewhere between SC and R6 3
oh BTW whiteknight, Bioshock sequel is in the works from what I have read. Funny thing is I was about to buy bioshock last month for 40$ but borrowed a copy from a friend. unmentionable atrocities i was about to commit seemed like a pain so I uninstalled it and forgot about it. But the game IMO is worth more to me then COD4 is. I don't mind tossing Irrational and 2k some money for developing a bad ass game like it.

So slightly going OT, but has anyone here "invested" in the latest gen GPUs? (GeForce 260, Radeon HD 4xxx series)
I wonder if most of us are just happy with our 8800's - no reason to upgrade this year.
Went from a 8800GTS 640MB to a ATI 4870 (and from a AMD Athlon X2 6400+ to a Intel E8400) and I must say that it was an utterly useless upgrade for the most part. Only reason I did it was to give my younger brother my CPU and GPU so he head a good rig to use. With the 8800 though I could run everything maxed out except Crysis. Most games I could also run at 4xAA. With the 4870 I can run everything maxed out WITH 4xAA, except Crysis, which runs a lot smoother. Overall not recommended to upgrade to something like that unless it's at high resolutions (mine is at 1680x1050).
ID agree with that 8800GT I have is good runs everything fine ... except crysis (tehehe)
Although my mobo is crossfire ready I might consider some ATI cards soon ... along with a pheanom
oh b.t.w. the 6400+ and the e8400 is a very comparable in terms of performance. I checked them both out before I bought my 6400. I'm still an AMD nutter and think they will put a hurting on nvidia and intel again shortly. Just lending them a hand in their numbers. They need some investors, their stocks dropped so fast a couple years ago.

Some thing you can fit a good bit of gear in and at least have the option of adding on some extra storage via a Mollee system or some thing similar. My personal preference is bug out bags simply because they can expand with the plethora of zippers that open up extra space, then it has plenty of straps to pull it all in tight.
Any zombie (survival) bag needs the basics. Medical, Shelter, Warm Clothing, survival gear. Take for instance you were preparing to relocate on the fly and all you can bring is what you can carry.
Medical Mass trauma:
IV to replace fluids in the body. ( For Dehydration and in mass trauma cases If you can control bleeding toss one on anyways it adds some blood pressure back to the casualty, helps stabilize the body)
Tourniquet to stop massive extremity bleeding. If you can find this one its like 25$
Get your basics, all of them if possible. Gauze, Anti-Bacterials, PainKillers, Bandages, chitosan hemcon and Various other medical Items...
Military style Ponchos with a few bungee cords make excellent water proof sleeping shelters. I'd know have about 6 weeks sleeping under them half of the time it being rain. Make a foxhole with water run off ditches.. ohh nice, dry, and warm while the other idiots drowned from water flowing back in.

You can probably easily talk your parents into buying some of this as well.. They would be happy if the time ever came they actually needed it (earth quakes, tsunamis, floods, tornadoes, hurricanes, zombies, Russians invading. etc...)
*edit* side note serellan decided not to picture MREs water etc... Its good to have a short hand supply of them but some things you might also want to include in your bag is items to make snares and traps, Some 550 cord, water filters (don't drink mud) , things that will last longer then MREs and let you use natural resources. Maybe toss in a nice survival guide as well in case you need to know some info that may help you survive.

Im working on filling up my bug out bag with medical and emergency supplies I have been getting from the medics every now and then. Should come in handy when I go camping. Who knows IV might come in handy... Got some bandages, tournakits and hemcon, extra ponchos, multi tool, wool blanket, some wool socks and long johns... wind proof jacket... Ill keep adding to it as I find cool stuff to put in it. Going to test some fire starters when I get a chance.
Thats a nice kit Serellan could come in handy ... never know. I would test one of them masks out though, make sure the Cans are working against simple ###### like pepper spray at least.

Upgrade to a new system is probably your best bet.
I found that the game is heavily dependent on your memory bandwith and CPU power more so then anything else.
Get a 3+ghz dual core or a quad core processor
2gb min of DDR2 800 or up
8800GTS or up and you should be able to run the game maxed out at 1600x1200 with 35 to 60fps
not including maxed AA

Things in garrison seem to move a little slow at times but then some range weeks and field training comes along speeds it up. Just got back from some field training, 3 weeks with no shower is no joke, I smell... bad. Got to ride the chinook for the first time though, that was pretty fun.

Picked up a Glock 20 last week for 400$ almost new, about 100 rounds through it, factory oil and it is super clean still. Taking it out this weekend hopefully.
Would take a real photo but my camera is broken and I have it locked up in our Arms room.
Thats the 10mm for you that didn't know.

Hell that I hate the troops guy himself knows this better then anyone. Just about everyone hated him yet his website was still allowed to remain up (until it got hacked haha). I'd of loved to vote to stop the spread of his ignorance but its not mine or even 99% of Americas population to decide the fate of his website. Sure we could vote to get all kinds of warnings put on his site saying it is a hate sight or what not but ultimately what it comes down to is it is his website not any of ours and that means it is all his intellectual property.
I hate that guy with a passion too yet I'm still defending his GOD GIVEN RIGHT to express his opinions. Just as if the ARMY wants to show their trade to a younger audience they should be able to, It ultimately comes back down to the parents of the kids and minds of the viewer to determine what they are seeing.
