  1. Amazing work with the Brown model and the Mich 2001 looks great on the ghosts. Can't wait to see the release and the community owes you one for this and all the other great work you have done for this game. GRIN owes guys like you and Snowfella for keeping this game relevant.
  2. Damn!!!! that is a great job. How about releasing that helmet as a stand-alone with instructions on how to assign it to the different models? Also, I think the helmet would go better with the Mex_sf_heavy skin., but it still looks great.
  3. Looking very promising! My only suggestion would be for you add (if possible) at least one kneepad on the mex_sf_light texture. I swapped out my units as well and it just does not look right without a kneepad on at least one of the legs.

  6. Great Job! GRIN should have hired you to come up with the Ghost models. I will say that I feel that the Ghosts should have coyote tan color , instead of the black for their gear. Also, I feel that the Ghosts in this game are doing mainly direct action missions and I feel that a helmet should be worn by all the operators (even though they look cool as hell without one also). I would go with the MICH 2001 and the IBH, and you could just add those helmets to each individual operator as you see fit. I got some good pics that I can share with you and some personal knowledge, just shoot me a PM with your email and I send them to you. Great job, bro
  7. Yes, the 3 color desert would be sweet. I was mainly looking for the vest to be in tan, because the black just did not sit well. Also, could you post a group (full body) pic of both the desert marpat and 3 color desert. I can't really see how they look with them in the crouch and I would like to see a comparison. Great work

  15. i don't understand why they did'nt just have a acog, eotech, and reflex for each one of the assault rifles and leave it up to the player to have what he wants. also, the m145 elcan could have been used for the m249 (we used it alot in the real world) and more units are switching to the collapsing stock on the m249 as well.
  16. i think the reviewer is basically saying that GRAW 2 is much like GRAW 1 with some enhancements. i think he felt disappointed because the game is much like the first one, a kind of "been there and done that" type of thing. GRAW 2 is feeling much like an expansion pack (based on the demos), not a full blowm sequel and i think that is what is going to hurt the game. i may have to wait until the price drop, not gonna fork over $40 for another expansion pack.
  17. i'm talking about the lack of customization in MP. we need more choices of camo and uniforms/gear. the 360 version hit it right on the head with all the different tactical helmets, caps, boonie hats, etc. the PC version looks tame in this department and i don't want to run around with a team that is all wearing the same exact gear like in SP. they got away with it in GRAW 1 and i will flatly refuse to pay for the game again without more substance. i still got GRAW 1 and judging by the demos i'm not impressed enough to buy again. the demo is cool and the gameplay has been enhanced, but they did not add the things that i wanted in the new game, so i'm going to pass on buying it during the initial release.plus, with COD4 coming out, may never get it.
  18. the PC version is more tactical, while the 360 version is more action and cinematic oriented (thus the 3rd person perspective). it all boils down to what your taste is and how you want to play the game. the 360 absolutely kills the PC when it comes to substance for MP. the MP is where the PC version fails and i was hoping that GRIN would address this for GRAW 2 with more chr and weapon models, but it does not look like it at the moment.

  24. ok, for the damn record. i have served over 14 years in the US military (11 yrs active duty). i have served with the 82nd, 101st, NATO (netherlands), 1AD (served in iraq), and 1SFG (served in afghanistan). i used my ako when i was approached about my service and it showed that i was with SF during that time. i no longer am in SF and now i'm back to being a grunt/paratrooper in a LRSD (Long Range Reconnaissance Det.). whiteknight, i sent you a PM and that is the last one i'm gonna send on this issue. i don't make claims about SF, i only share my experience while i was there. i was a SOF support soldier, but it makes no difference because my mission was the same as the green berets and the mission did not get done without one of us. i did not sit on my ass at the FOB, i did many missions over there that required me to fly all over eastern afghanistan or doing tactical convoys with SF operators, that's all fact. @snowfella, what up dude!!! it's been awhile!!!! i'm doing good and things are moving along just nicely. rocky. i made the corrections in my first post and i'm still hoping that someone can use that info to edit the .xml file. i tried, but i can't seem to get it to work. i give permission to anyone to use the info i provided and edit the briefing.xml file.
