I'm in love!

Cool avatar blakarion, fan of the DC as well.
-
Well done, quite gruesome

I agree, while I'll miss having more than one squad, if the left flank, right flank orders actually work intelligently, it should be alright.

The worst is when its an email to a professor and you're supposed to attach your project.
-
haha, I've done that before so many times!
-
I offered to host for you above, it still stands.

You could email it to me at maeast@vt.edu and I could host it.

Fan of the games, movies, and comics. I will be seeing AvP.
Hohoho, that reminds me of the time I was playing AvP 1 on the PC. I was a marine, deep in the alien hive, apparently near where the queen kept her eggs. My motion detector displayed something moving right at me, beep, beep beep, but I didn't see anything (was looking for a nice sized alien), when all of a sudden.... a FRIKKEN face hugger jumped on my head with a horrible sucking sound and the wiggling probosis and the spidery legs wrapped around my virtual face...
Needless to say, I fell backwards, chair and all, probably screaming.

Beautiful, bring it on!

If you played the single player of FSW, you would quickly see that it is completely linear.
It features awesome things like if you are behind what the game defines as cover, your men peek out and shoot at their in "cover" opponents, the enemy does the same. Nothing happens, this will go on till infinity with shots always missing. But its cool, because on your command map, you see a convient alley that provides a flanking move for your other squad. You hit the button that tells them to flank, and they do it successfully. Wooo.
That's just one example of the scripted linear game play. Also just 1 of 4 ways to solve killing enemies behind cover. But don't worry, each time you come up on an enemy behind cover like that, only ONE (say grenade, covering fire, M203) will work, none of the others will. Just trial and error buddy.
I guess its obvious I prefer games that feature smart loose AI than no replay value scripted linear sequences.
