    ok new log ting,

    ive been trying to have a go at the instructions you passed on, ive even bought a guitar tuner device (noob much), I can play songs well, every time i try to Drop my 6 E string low, it sounds too low and lazy like (wobbly as if the string would come loose) , if its gone up high it just sounds anoying and horrible, so i tuned it back to 6 E standard, keeping it nice and tidy for now..

    I suck at tuning, but so far my skills are intemediate for playing.. none of my friends play guitar either.. So its kinda hard tuning on your own..

    Also im referencing from my AMP, not my guitar it self.. I tune my guitar from my amp as it would sound on " rock/blues " .

    Well, I don't plan on sitting behind a computer 14 hrs a day playing this one or more sniper games called Sniper Elite or Sniper Ghost Warrior waiting for a TARGET.

    lol well in my opinion it totally relates to SGW , you do see some run n gunners sometime as well, might install it on linux ha

    I am trying to find out what the factory setting "tune" is to tune my guitar to drop D tuning, for the modern metal style playing, all i know so far is that it is the high E and A string that needs to be tuned to drop D.

    Please help, youtube hasnt been much help either.

    You also need to keep an eye on cultural elements, such as religeuos hate in the games, alot of the OPFOR are always terrorists, islamists, IRA, Russians, etc...

    Becarefull when you compare OPFOR (meaning IRAQI, IRANIAN, TALIBAN) and BLUFOR, BLUFOR (meaning americans, british, probably swedish forces and other europan and Australian Forces, Also the UN) .

    IN the past history of MODERN WARFARE, there have been alot of BLUE on BLUE attacks.

    NEVER FORGET

    OPFOR are always defending THEIR country too their FAMILIES and LOVE ONES as an american or british soldier WOULD, as they are always EASILY mentioned as the "bad guys". To dumb it down so.

    There is a MAJOR demonising for islamic IRA and russian OPFORs as you would hear in the NEWS today, i.e CNN , ITN (british) BBC world News and probably other Nation wide channels.

    Hope this makes sence.

    ok i got this game running on linux mint \m/ (inspired by zeealex) :ph34r:

    Graphics are amazeballs on linux running thru winetricks :whistle:

    got Desert Siegs and island thunder running inc patch 1.4 \m/ :rambo:

    But i get no sound during game play, only when the main menu apears.. Any one got any pointers?..

    yup, linux mint 12 is running tings like a boss!!

    Ive got playonlinux as well as wine... I'll have to have a browse!

    If you install ghost recon from the disk as normal in wine it should work. if not let me know, I'm normally on ubuntu and GR works fine with the graphic drivers active.

    not sure what you mean by free download? UDK is free, but you still have to buy GR :P

    I have installed the front end components from playonlinux only at the moment, cant seem to find the wine installation component :S

    I have still all the GR CD's, GRAW 2 CD and HAWX on steam..

    currently im running nexius ( awesome quake III and UT clone on OPEN GL)

    but those screen shots seem edited or running through different engine??

    FTL takes up most of my addiction time nowadays :P

    lol yeah, cuoldnt find any other reviews, so picked that one aha.. For me it was kinda out of the blue, the AI are very decent too, depending what weaponry and rep they have..

    its well worth the penies. For a single player only.. They even have a mod community wiki

    Hey people, my brother got me this cool simulation management space game, just picture yourself in a star trek like situation, great for star trek fans or babylon 5 etc...

    really retro style layout, with atmospheric spaced music, for those supernova pilot wannabe's. Gets tense when you get dogfights..
