well the real question is... ..since Jungle Storm is really just Island Thunder with more missions...which MODder with the tools and proggies will make a MOD for the PC that includes the PS2 only missions and post them in the download section?

Well jeffery kind of touched on a different aspect. The M203 does have two different shotgun type rounds that dont need "arming" after they leave the tube because...well...hey..it is 00 bucksot or BBs in a shotgun pattern comming out. Quite nice for Close Quarters or "door openers".

why is it for some odd reason I see him walking up to a medic aid station, riddled with bullets and an unexploded 40mm round in his thigh and saying "I need a Tylenol please" ??? then again....reminds me of The Discovery Channel the other night...they had a special on the taking of Bagdahd and some scrawny US Marine kid (looked like he was 18 barely) got an RPG to the head....and lived!

speaking of which...anyone see the newest Pizza Hut/Domino's/Whoever pizza commercial with Jessica in it? Ads for the new Buffalo Chicken [izza and they even ask her about buffaloes...and go figure...they show a buffalo with wings and Jessica runs over and goes "Do it again!" and clucks. Ok...she's stupid for doing a commercial that makes fun of her stupidity...or wait...is that being smart? Hrm..cashing in on stupidity. Hrm....

@FNG - now now...he said he's Canadian...so their FA isnt as welcomed as ours and he doesnt know how the US Army handles officers that get transfered to FA from another combat arms unit type (ie infantry, tankers etc). Usually, we send them over to Admin and let them sit it out there and keep them away from the big shooty things (ie the guns) Of course, people should remember that there are people from different countries that use this board and different countries have different views about their officers. Sure, there's going to be officers that do stupid things (like go to Oktoberfest i

lol..kind of reminds me of of what happened a while back. ..ok so back in '87 I'm on my flight from St. Louis to the 22nd Replacement Div. in Frankfort. I braved literal hell and high water at Ft. Sill for 13 weeks and was glad that even though the drinking age just shot to 21, in Germany it was still 15 (16, 18..still under 21 though ). The SSgt coinceidently sitting next to me the entire flight was the same that scored my PT Test (and yes, he remembered me..long story). So as we're sitting there, he telling me how to spot German women who want American citizenship (ie "i'm drunk.." then "

well...the DoD pictures begin ---------->>> here <<<------------- She's like picture 350 out of the 385 pictures there. Of course I could've saved the picture but...well....hindsight is 20/20 (ok...20/30 in my case sometimes. ) but the site does have some other cool pictures too

saw a video clip on some Top 100 Hotties show that had her saying...and I quote... "I know it's tuna, but why is it called Chicken of the Sea?"

I know...hence why I said I found it while digging through some old folders, but considering how old it it and the current mindset of the media, it does show a good representation of how either : a. misguided b. miseducated c. just plain stupid d. (other) the media is concerning the military. Here's a good example and NO I'm not brings up any political arguments or anything of the sort BUT I am pointing out something of a military nature that is still bypassed by the media. Ok, so per the media no nasty ######ed weapons were found in Iraq right? Wait...what about that stockpile of musta

Well, for the "older" crowd (ie 35-50yrs old) there is a pict of a nice looking female captian in the 101rst with her good old M-9 shouldered (and Screaming Eagle patch centered in the photo) at about picture 350 out of 385 "approved" pictures here. ("approved" meaning declassified..of course there's probably some good looking SF chicks too..oh wait..that's right, the Army calls them Marines Just kidding....*ducks the incomming for that one*). Anyhoo...I really dont want to keep hitting the "Next" button to find her in there (there's 5-6 pics per page) but there's still some good pics there

Ok I got one...was looking through some DoD approved picts and found...... Ok why her? 1. Not an actress or model therefore not an ego with breasts. 2. In the military. Specifically, (per the DoD site) a soldier with the 173rd Airborne Brigade, 4th Infantry Division, (greetimng Iraqi school children during a follow-on village assessment in Al Huweja, Iraq, Dec. 4, 2003) 3. Obviously the friendly type..and likes kids 4. Has a firearm AND knows how to use it 5. Has enough guts to go into a combat zone ergo, she can stand up for herself. That means no fighting guys that tower ove

I didnt write the caption... personally I thought that maybe the US Navy had a problem with Renault (would say with Zivs,Zils and Zis'..but since the cold war is over......)

Well since I posted it, might as well comment on it. First off, the General was making a comment towards people assuming and over analyizing like the reporter did. Had the Gerneral been replaced by say, ted Nugent, then the "killers" comment more than likely would've replaced by one that is for animal rights, etc. The reporter assumed in that interview that because the Marines were teaching basic firearms training (which btw, the military is far better at teaching firearms SAFETY than most civilian groups sans the NRA) that they were trying to make the kids into killers. A typical kneejerk

(caption) I swear...those guys on the SS Essess get all the fun!

Ok, found this hiding away in my folders (was cleaning my folders out) and thought it should be posted. Some might have already read this before in the past, yet, it still shows how the USMC doesnt take crap from anyone..

So we're talking sequal then? Because I cant read japanese. If so, it figures since how the first one ended (ok that and there could also be a prequel..I've seen shots of some of the manga pages.)

Csmith_Fan replied to Rocky's topic in GR (PC) - General Discussion
Strangely....I asked Jeeves when the release date for GR2 will be.... ...my answer was my ISP and port # as well as the message of "Remain calm. A representive will be by your home shortly to explain." just kidding....really I am just kidding despite having an MP5SD pointed at me...
