the old school "Nam Era" BDUs are good..the pockets are slash pockets whereas the new ones are horizontal. / <---old style --- <---new style. The curent style makes it a bit more difficult to get into the pockets when you have on your LBE (or whaever they call it now..going by 1988 terminology here..sorry).
