I read at their website they didn't make enough money to make the sequel because their first film was stolen too many times http://stealthisfilm.com/Part2/faq.php

Installed on 2 computers so far ... makes my COD4 demo work great on my aging 6800GT 128MB

Well, you need a CD to play the legit version of GR right? We don't talk about [Thing that should not be spoken of here] in this forum. I'm not sure why your game is going back to desktop ... are you saying it does that all the time or just when you are using the Platoon Extender mod?

Try this out to see if it's what you're looking for: GR Single Player Platoon Extender v2.0 http://files.3dretreat.com/file.asp?fileid=581

OK, I did a fresh reinstall of WinXP on one of my systems that isn't mission-critical, and loaded up SP3 RC1. I was very impressed as it installed quickly (for a old P4 2.4GHz) and no problems so far. My comments: - Interesting that SP3 includes all of SP2 (for those that still have WinXP SP1) but does not include upgrades like IE7 or WMP 11. - It includes DX9c, would be cool if MS gave us DX10 for XP in the final version - When I did Windows Update, it only needed 2 updates (instead of 80+ updates for a fresh install of SP2) which were the May and Dec Malicious Code Removal packs - The

Man, I gotta get this game ... Just no time to play anything these days is the problem
-
Well, depends on your definition of "around the corner" - I wouldn't count on XP SP3 to come out before we see Vista SP1, and that may be a few more months ... We still may see an XP SP2 RC2 etc ...

Thanks for the update Kimi! Posted the news over at GR-R Most fans don't mind a delay as long as the company puts out some news about the status of things once in awhile, so your touching base with the community with this update is a step in the right direction.

Hi Kimi! It's awesome to hear you are now at RSE! Very wise choice for them to hire you

Congrats Pave! Who else here is in the 30" club? I am planning to pick up a Dell 24" UltraSharp widescreen LCD before Christmas - the 1050 horizontal pixel limit of 20-22" is really bugging me. My old 20" will go to my bro. I was thinking of the 27" as it ahs bigger pixels for my aging eyes, but I could buy two Dell 24" for the price of one Dell 27"

Good for GRIN! Capcom has a special place in my heart all those years playing 1942 and Street Fighter II. Wishing GRIN all the best in their new project

EA To Acquire BioWare Corp. and Pandemic Studios
CR6 replied to Pave Low's topic in The Video Gaming Industry Discussion
Say it isn't so! That is bad news. EA is one of the worst companies to take a good studio and ruin it. Here's a good article about it: http://www.tomsgames.com/us/2007/10/08/microsoft_bungie/ -
GRAW2PC on a Mac under BootCamp ?
CR6 replied to Killer Boo's topic in GR:AW 2 (PC) - General Discussion
I just checked the specs for a MacBook Core2 Duo 2.16 and it says: "Intel GMA 950 graphics 64MB of DDR2 SDRAM shared memory" So unfotunately, I'm predicting very poor performance for GRAW2. The integrated Intel GMA 950 isn't really for gaming, and Intel even has a page about how it works with GRAW1 here: http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/inte...b/CS-023532.htm Also, GRAW2 ideally uses 256-512MB dedicated graphics memory. Now, if you happen to have MacBook Pro that came with a NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT graphics with 256MB SDRAM, you might have better luck -
GRAW2PC on a Mac under BootCamp ?
CR6 replied to Killer Boo's topic in GR:AW 2 (PC) - General Discussion
Hey Boo, good to see you back. I'm curious how things turn out running GRAW on your MacBook, as I'm seriously considering getting one since it can dual boot to XP nowadays Saw your specs above, but did you mention what integrated graphics chip you have, and if there's dedicated video memory or does the graphics chip share memory with the CPU? -
I'm assuming this news? http://www.gamespot.com/news/6180462.html I didn't think anyone could escape once in the grip of M$! Haha, looks like the start of a quote contest. Nice one Krise!

Actually, it says Blum voiced "GHOST RECON 2 (Stonewall) Nick Salvatore UBISOFT" so the hunt continues for who voiced Mitchell ... That Blum guy looks pretty busy. I wonder what it's like to make a living as a voice actor, sounds like a pretty good job
