A lot of people seem to be getting a problem with these drivers getting their GPU's clock speed wrong and UNDER clocking it.
I'm holding off for the moment but like any driver version, they work for some, for others they don't. It really is a matter of suck it and see with GFX drivers tbh.

The fact is, if all the ppl who disliked the game are no longer reading or posting here, then you're only going to get the opinion of the fans, not the opinions of the majority of ppl who bought and tried the game.

Absolutely no idea what the term means and I have no idea about deployment yet, my main induction day is on the 25th of this month so I have very little detail on anything atm

A well deserved sentence and by hanging. Fox news reported that he was wanting the firing squad, but hanging will do him just fine and allow him to feel some of the pain he put others through. The EU should back off of the requests of not enforcing the death penalty if ya ask me. They didn't have to live through his tyranny.
I couldn't agree more. Not to mention the fact that the UN did nothing to take him out in the first place, so what right do that have to determine his fate at this point. England has some say, but other than them, nobody else has any right to cast any sort of judgement in regard to this matter.

Just thought I would pop in and say hi. Obviously it won't be a big deal to you regular military types but I've just (at the ripe old age of 42) joined the RAF Reserves Force Protection unit.
It's a really interesting, varied role, one day I may be in a control unit operating surveillance or communications equipment (being an IT manager should help with that
) then next I may be armed and on patrol.Anyway, just wanted to get it off my chest as I'm well excited about it. (thank god I keep fit, all those 32 years of martial arts has been a real asset).
Hehe, well maybe our paths my one day cross - I'm currently in the selection process for the RAF. I've applied for the Tactical Provost Wing (RAFP)

Realistically, I can see people who say that playing very few games next year, IMHO. This potential source of income for publishers is going to be to good to miss out on. Unless there really is a huge up swell of dissent.

I would buy as many games as you can NOW tbh because by this time next year I can't see any online game that will not have 'Some' form of in game advertising so you are going to need plenty of old games to play.
No publisher is going to deliberately cut off a potential stream of extra income, especially one that requires nothing more that a server supplying ads.
The only way to stop this is to hit them where it hurts (in the wallet) and the only way to do this would be for enough people to boycott buying the games and cause the revenue to drop below the level which the ads generate. If we are all honest then this ain't going to happen.
Will YOU seriously not play an absolutely fantastic tactical shooter, with amazing graphics, great gameplay, multiple online modes, that all your mates and squad mates are playing just because of a few ads on billboards that tbh you probably wont even notice?
I am honest enough to admit that as much as I hate the idea of in game ads, for a game like that I will probably ignore em and buy it anyway.
Hell, thats how politicians get elected year on year, public apathy

The Yellow section is a missing 'Netting' texture and as far as I know everyone has this.
The ground texture I will check myself when I get home but does it look the same when you are closer or is it just a draw distance thing?
As for the game itself it's a bit run and gun but again shows what can be done with the CHROME engine. I still wonder why no one has done more with it.

One thing I have noticed (Which if I can't fix it will mean removing it).
I have a Fileplanet account and with the previous Firefox if I wanted to download a file I clicked on the link, it then opened a smaller download window and I was given the option to click if the download doesn't start (I don't use the Fileplanet downloader). At this point the Firefox Download dialogue opened and i clicked open or save to get the file.
With Firefox 2 I get to the stage of clicking the option if the download does not start but the Firefox Download dialogue does not open so i cant save or open the file.
Any ideas?

I also didnt see anything wrong with his post. I found boneheads post to be very mean spirited and a bit sharp and nasty though. I don't like reading replys the way bonehead spoke to him.

Looking through the DXdiag I would say yes you can. But tbh it aint going to win no races and you may want to get something like TweakXP once installed and turn off some of XP's more fancy options.

Maybe it's just me, but I am really underwhelmed by all of the AA screenshots and footage so far, it just does not impress at all. I am sure gameplay will be it's strong point, but visually the media so far leaves me unimpressed.
I've got to agree with Rocky on this, all i'm hoping is that like [GR] the gameplay and team action is good enough to forgive any graphical drawbacks.

The constant cost of PC gaming is certainly prohibitive for a lot of people. Unles you are a proffessional working in the graphics industry then gaming is the ONLY reason to constantly need to upgrade your PC.
To be perfectly honest (and I have said this for years) if they allowed keyboard and mouse use on consoles then I would swap tomorrow. I only play FPS's really and in my opinion a controller just doesn't cut it for me.

Just thought I would give a quick heads up on an interesting looking HL2 mod called Eternal-Silence
It's looking good so far and seems to offer a nice mix of playstyles (Sci-Fi flight sim & FPS).
Several things interest me about it such as the tactical elements of Fighters having to defend Bombers on bombing runs of the enemy Capital ships etc.
It seems to have drawn many good features from lot's of different games and hopefully can pull off the overall playability.
Anyway, it's looking like a go for the Saturday 23rd release so mebbe I'll see ya in space

I will answer that question ToW-Angel, and like you are so fond of saying, this is purely my honest opinion.
The reason you have to keep defending your words is because you constantly come across as condecending with your holier than though attitude.
You 'Speak' for the community! you have implied this in several posts when obviously none of us remember voting you in to do it.
You state your opinions like they are the ONLY worthwhile way of looking at something and no-one elses matter.
You come in to this thread and made a huge show of why the posters thread has NO worth whatsoever yet in a post YOU started you went off on one literally telling someone to get out of it because it's YOUR thread.
These are just a few of the reasons that I can see that cause you to keep defending yourself.

Now gimme some tips, the 25th is getting closer and I have just got all the details for the day. Even though I'm only joining the RAF Reserves, and there is no trade choice as it's a fixed role (Force Protection) I still have to do the same AST as you, 2 whole hours of it
