    Still having Problems!!!

    Ok, now i feel really stupid. I was getting off here a minute ago, so I was starting BlackIce for the overnight so that i could see if anything was getting through the modem's security. (Here's the part your'e gonna laugh at) I went to my programs menu and started the BlackIce engine only to find that it was already running. I had clicked on exit on the tray icon not realizing that the command only closes the icon there, not the service. SOOOOOOOOOOO, the eye is yellow when it comes up, SOOOOOOOOOOO, I look at the intruder log and low and behold whose IP address is showing as a blocked request, that's right, my buddy's. It looks like I opened the right ports and he got through the modem only to be stopped by BlackIce...

    Hey guys,

    I am still having the problem I posted yesterday. After an hour online with the wizards as Sprint, I still cant' host a game for my buddies and I as they still can't connect. I have disabled my software firewalls, I have forwarded the appropriate ports on the modem, and he still can't connect. I even went as far as opening all ports on the modem and he still couldn't make contact. I have bugged Dannik to death about this so now I am coming back to the forum at large for some help. Any network/modem/router gurus out there that can come up with any ideas?

    Ok, I know this is probably a stupid question, but a buddy and I were playing C)2 the other night and on one of the missions we had to take for tangos captive. I have no idea how to do that without getting waxed trying. Can somebody explain the technique for me...

    PCI Video Cards

    I have finally come to the conclusion that my HP pavilion is a piece of crap. My onboard video is biting the dust and I am going to have to buy a PCI video card as my system has no AGP slot. Is there anyone out there who is running a PCI card that can help me figure out which one is best for my system? The onboard card is a S3 Prosavage, which I believe uses Nvidia technology. Will that make a difference on what card I need to buy. I am running 256 MB of SDRAM with a AMD 1.3Ghtz processor.

    Any suggestions?

    When the mods are activated, are the uniform changes automatically updated, or is there something you have to do to change them? In addition, is there a way to pick and choose what each element of the game is wearing, for instance can my team be in one camo and another choosed a camo of their liking?

    Hey all,

    Twice this week I have been in the middle of a game and my system hangs up. Then after a minute or so, it goes back to the desktop with a message that a device has failed. I checked the event viewer and the error it shows says that my video card got stuck in an infinite loop and that it could be due to 1. my device is failing, or 2. that the driver is screwing up. I have an (don't trash me) HP pavilion 7935 running HP home, 1.3 GHtz, 256 RAM, and the video card is an S3 ProSavage 8A26 (KM133). The driver information says that it is a 2001 version, so I think it might be the drivers, but I can't tell which one is the right driver for the card I have.

    Any ideas?:please:

    Thanks for the input. I have a lot of learning left to do as I just got the game over x-mas. One other question...how do the regulars feel about those less skilled joining their games. I have a buddy and we play together two or three time a week, but haven't felt comfortable exploring the gameplay with you guys who are so experienced yet...

    So, if you are relatively new to the game, would you be better off to play through the whole thing unmodded, or would downloading weapons mods etc. be acceptable right from the start?

    If modding is acceptable, what would your reccommendation be if you could only do one?
