  1. gulf01, have you read the Credits.txt? In it you find the reason. Listening the same weapon sounds over and over again twisted my sense of humour. The next version, when ever I'll make one, won't have these strange sounds. ;)

  2. Hello,

first,i beg your pardon for my bad english.

    I love your pack,Kafee,great job !!!

I found a little problem with the AN94 and the "three-shoot",

i dare say that "w_aks74u_ts.wav" is corrupt.( ... my english ... )

this little suggestion because you are a perfectionist.

    Thx for your mod,bye. :notworthy:

    Hello engagé Baleine,

The AN94 is a russian assault rifle with a special ability to shoot 2 rounds almost simultaneously when firing bursts. That explains the w_aks74u_ts and w_ak74_ts.

The 74_ts is for AN94 without GP25, and 74u_ts is for the same weapon but with GP25 attached. This creates a problem when for instance playing Band of Brothers with my sounds, as the AKS74U has 3 round burst.

I do not how how to edit these sounds to work correctly, but because there's no AKS74U in GR for the player to use I thought this wouldnd't be an issue.

  3. I like the idea of chancing the reticle colors, reminds me of rainbow six. Maybe the colors should still be more alike with different classes if you want to show the classee this way. Green - red is all the way from one to the other end. Also I found the weapon icon colors a bit too dark.

The new Threat Indicator is very nice.

I'd like to see this idea brought forward with more simple palette.

Also it would be nice if someone made a reticle more simple and without the moving parts. The way that the extact center point wouldn't bee too easy to spot. I always liked playing RvS without reticle. ;)

  4. I have listened a lot small arms fire both in- and outdoors. Outdoors without hear protection also.

I agree that when recorded they don't have lots of bass, but when you're there standing next to the shooter or behind him, you can feel the blast. The feel-part is what I've mostly tried to achieve, the sound from shooters perspective. Of course I have had to take into concideration that some sounds are heard from distance so I've made a sort of a mixture of them.

I've also tried to make the sound reflect the recoil of the gun. The lower the recoil shorter the echo.
