I've experienced the same problem... my harddisk is however new and newly formatted and defragged...
But GR won't start.. during the startup it reports that "GR caused an error in GHOSTRECON.EXE.
GR is closing
If the problem persists, try reboot the pc.
I've tried to reboot and re-install as well.. and no result
Any ideas out there ??
Pc is an AMD athlon powered thing with 327 MB RAM and 80 GB disk.... and running Win ME.. some weeks ago it was Win 98 and it worked...
(I wondered if there is a newer version of ghostrecon.exe out there....)
