If I get a gigabit switch and connect in a few gigabit NIC cards, if I connect a 10/100 NIC, will the whole switch then operate only at 10/100 or will it just be that connection? Is this different for hubs or routers? Thanks.

I would try MP GRAW. Real people are smarter than the SP AI in GRAW. Yeah, just move slow and turn down the graphics a little to get better performance. I would second Swat 4 as a possibility.

I'm thinking about getting Half Life 2 but is Steam required in order to play the game? Is it required every time you launch it or just for activation? The computer I'm on 90% of the time doesn't have access to Steam (darn firewall). Anyone know? Thanks.

Well, I beat the short campaign as the Moors. I fought off multiple attacks from the French and Sicily. They would assault my cities again and again. It was nuts. I thought it was fitting that as my 15 city (and for the win) was to oust the Pope.

I really like the expansion. It doesn't lag at all for me.

So I got tired of playing as the Danes because the Pope was being stupid. So I started as the Moors and had a very easy start. The Portuguese and Spanish have both been exterminated by my hand. I control the starting provinces in Africa as well as all of Spain. The problem now is France and the Papal States are constantly attacking me. My spearmen and light cavalry which were great against the Portuguese and Spanish are now completely ineffective against the heavy armor of European troops and cavalry. 13 SP missions. I especially liked the last one. The Carlyle Hotel mission was really hard for some reason. They seemed to execute hostages very quickly.
